My Aug 25th Walmart order is arriving today, Aug 22nd Walmart order is still processing, and way back i forget when UK amazon is shipped.

2/3 is ok. Able to help one friendo out but not my 3rd friend :(

I'm still holding out hope that my Aug 22 walmart preorder is gonna ship. It was finally charged in full on Friday. So I'm hoping it changes to shipped soon, it says its due oct 4th.

I had the same issue with my Amazon UK order.
 
Looking forward to my free day tomorrow - can't wait to wake up, make myself a nice strong coffee, vanish under the sheets and then play on the SNES Mini till the evening!

I've finally finished all the regular stages in Mega Man X (once you collect some of the upgrades and the heart containers the bosses are surprisingly easy) and I will probably tackle the last final stages tomorrow.
I also plan to finally start with FFVI - tis gonna be good!

They came back with a cancellation, and told me not to order any more since I violated their terms. Didn't even know they had a limit on them. They didn't cancel my Prime or anything, but it felt pretty harsh and unnecessary. Just wanted, very literally, to pick one up for a family member for Christmas.

Amazon scolding you for wanting to buy two items seems pretty tone-deaf.
 
Some people were saying that the people we payed 10 euros for our reservation throungh media markt were not secured and would likely not go through, and we would have got back the 10 euros, as the reservation period was up for more than a whole day.

Well went today with my email reservation (waiting for the worst) and I got it, the page for snes mini reservations was massive btw, and seems we were all getting it of we payed 10 euros that day.

Spanish mediamarkt btw.

Tested it a little on my tv. It looks wonderful (that VB backdrop with scanlines is love) and super happy that the controllers feel just like the real ones (thought they were going to be smaller).
Beat some star fox stages, then played star fox 2 on hard and died after I cleaned titania.
 
Just reporting in to say that the Threed circus tent glitch still works in the SNES Classic version of EarthBound. Just tested it myself.
 
the replay feature is amazing. helped finally beat Donkey Kong Country and its helping immensely with Super Metroid with avoiding having to restart from the last save.
 
my walmart order from the 25th just shipped, had to check it manually but it just changed in the past few hours!

don't give up.

i see no charge for it on my CC too, of course i expect that to change.
 
Mail lady decided to mess with me. I get notified it's delivered on my front porch. It's not there. I check back porch. Not there. My garage was open so I searched the entire thing. Not there. This is where I start hyperventilating.

I called my local post office just 20 minutes after it was supposedly delivered and explain the situation. The whole time I'm thinking I'm a victim of mail fraud and my one and only preorder was gone. The post office puts me on hold for 15 minutes and finally get back to me saying it was delivered to the wrong address. The mail lady was driving back to the house to pick up and then redeliver to my house. If I hadn't been on top of it who knows if it would have made it.

Anyways, crisis averted! This thing is so awesome. Will definitely mod when the time comes. A secret bonus I wasn't expecting was all the manuals and full Earthbound Guide. Such cool art and style to those old manuals! I'm going to pull up some Nintendo Powers too for the full experience. SMW is a really good game too. Top notch level design and the world map is really fun. Why did they never do this with the NSMB series (secret exits and a more realistic believable map)?

Mine's exactly the same as that from Thursday night. I'm not going to worry about it, and I have to remind myself to stop checking the tracking five times a day.

And then:

The entire history is really strange.

I really dislike the USPS. This crap always seems to happen whenever stuff gets shipped through them. There are two other USPS offices in two other towns that have handled my packages before and this isn't one of them. Even if it gets set to my house it's still dicey if it will ever arrive because the USPS has a really, really back track record here.
 
Interesting how the thread title explicitly states for people to not asking modding questions, when all this thread currently is is people sharing their shipping information...
 
Holy crap I forgot what cheese fest street fighter 2s single player was. Just watched my daughter get beaten by Ryu who literally did nothing but avoid her by backing off and jumping over her while throwing fireballs constantly.

There’s been good convos about controllers and games and many other things. Right now we’re talking shipping.

If you don’t like that, why not make a meaningful contribution?
 
Cluster showed the screenshot tool works on the SNES Mini.

Don't have to always use a phone to take a pic now. :)

I agree! My point was there has also been good convos about modding, but that's been frowned upon for some reason

You can brick and semi-brick right now if you don't know what you're doing.

Anyone else just stare at this thing for a minute when they pulled it out of the box? The attention to detail and finish on this thing is just amazing (EU ver here).
 
I want to be happy for those with a 8/25 Walmart order getting shipped, but as a 8/22 order guy still sitting in "Preparing" I just want to rampage on Walmart

nobody ever thought about these things. you only learn about them from game historians or speedrunners.

My wife happened to get home right as I was unboxing mine, and I just walked over to the front door with my mouth agape holding it out like it was baby Simba. It's like someone shrunk a real one in the wash. Honestly my only complaint... I wish it had yellowing. Give us that authenticity.

It's supposed to be nostalgic to your childhood. Give it time to yellow naturally :)

Like here, TMNT4 doesn't show that it's a two player game, just one.
