Too bad Turn 10 has decided to move in the arcade direction with Forza 7 physics wise, so that's probably not true anymore after GT Sport is out.
At least for once this is an actual, direct comparison of content between the two!GT vs Forza threads always go well.
Considering the series producer has actually raced in that event, it makes sense that he'd want to nail down the feel.Y'all also need to check out the comparison from a few weeks ago :

Not true. I had drops down to 30fps or lower today when racing in the rain on my launch XB1. Even the sound were affected by the performance hit. No idea if it's better on the S though. Now let's do a wet track comparison... oh wait we can't.
On a more serious note, I'm not a blind Forza defender, I agree that it could look better, but we should remember about a few things:
- Forza will support more cars during the race
- Forza now has dynamic weather and time of day, we haven't seen any weather footage from GTS (not counting night races)
- Forza has more tracks and a shitload more cars in the game (to be fair they've reused a lot of assets but it's still a lot of content)
- Forza Motorsport games always offer steady 60fps and the new game is exactly the same, steady framerate even on the oldest XONE models
They have, looking back towards the car you'll hear more throttle/intake-sounding audio and at the rear it's more raw exhaust sound. If you look at the side of the car you'll even take advantage of stereo and have one in each ear.
Lol. Yeah, yeah. Lets wait and see. Theres no point to your reply because you dont know yet.
Just a few Porsches , Aston Martin and Ferraris (Can send you a few photos if you want) also the reviewer is a Pro Racer.... Also, not saying the game is bad, but is a lot worse than 3 or 4.

What a time
No! Pick a side!
We at war here!
Yeah these threads are mad, have been Playing PCars 2, Forza 7 in work and Can Not Wait, for GT Sport to drop.

Facts:
I saw both of them on an LG OLED 65, and Forza looks way times better. Difference is so noticeable that makes me think that people arguing this didnt play Forza 7, or its in denial mode, or anything else.
Again: The difference in IQ is substantial. Go check them both on an OLED TV and then lets talk again.
On another note do the gt cars still sound like shit?
Don't remember the track, 24 cars and I had the chase cam on. It started just before the rain hit then got worse and worse. It's not catastrophic I guess since Driveclub and FH3 is 30fps all the time but instantly going from smooth 60fps to 30fps with no time to adjust to the stutter made it look awful to be honest. What track? How many AI?

Lol people have me on ignore for my complaints about the framerates, it doesn't matter what DF says I trust my framerate whore own eyesDo you have a frame counting device? Anyway, DF will test the game so people saying "their" Forza dropped to 30 will be proven right or wrong in the end but of course people will ignore facts like in this thread when people say GTS didn't drop in the beta although provingly wrong.
PCIs the Forza gameplay from an Xbox One X? Also cloudy day vs clear is why the lighting looks off.
Lol people have me on ignore for my complaints about the framerates, it doesn't matter what DF says I trust my framerate whore own eyesAnd I haven't seen framedrops before so it's like it's common I just responded to the post about it always being 60fps which it's cleary not.
GT:S looks better
Forza sounds better
The franchise fatigue seems to be genuine since T10/MS feel like they need to monetize everything as badly as they have.Too bad the Forza team doesn't have 4 years to work on a game and we get a new one every year. Too bad.
GT:S looks better
Forza sounds better
Not true anymore. GTS has accurate sounds now.
Where did you get that impression? Forza has never eclipsed GT in visuals in any generation...I was under the impression that Forza always beat GT in graphics. Quite the difference to the contrary there.
Was it not argued that T10 pumping so many Forza's was an area it excelled at? That too comes with it's drawbacks, but don't forget that the current Forza is being devved with XB1 as a base and that is weaker than PS4..Notwithstanding PD's credentials when it comes to visuals and features have always been ahead of the pack......(GT had Dynamic Weather and TOD) on PS3 and was pushing much higher resolutions too...Too bad the Forza team doesn't have 4 years to work on a game and we get a new one every year. Too bad.
GorgeousHere's a much closer time of day.
I recorded it with Shadowplay and it seems to have done something with the audio EQ, so excuse the fact that it's missing a bit of bass.

4K downsampled to 1080p, encoded at 1080p, 30fps, 25Mbps. Only 30fps but the footage is solid with no stutters from what I can see on a rewatch.
They both look good enough. What REALLY grinds my gears though, is the shaky camera in forza. Why did they do this? This is not how human eyes work. Not at all. Forza just went from "will look at this when I get a new PC" to "better double dip on PC2".
I never understood why so many people believe that every car has to sound like some turbocharged car or NFS underground at every turn. Sound in GT is really good and accurate in GTS.
The fact that that's audio from a gopro doesn't really help gt's case.
The whacky camera in Forza is so silly.
This so much. I don't want to feel like I'm getting tugged along on a skateboard behind the car.
