Here's a much closer time of day.
I recorded it with Shadowplay and it seems to have done something with the audio EQ, so excuse the fact that it's missing a bit of bass.

4K downsampled to 1080p, encoded at 1080p, 30fps, 25Mbps. Only 30fps but the footage is solid with no stutters from what I can see on a rewatch.
Not true anymore. GTS has accurate sounds now.
I guess we'll see soon enough. But trust me I'm not making shit up that's for sure, check my posts about Forza 7, I absolutely love the game, it's not without faults (crappy AI) but it's honestly better than I could ever imagine. You said here it dropped to 30 and I'm curious if DF can support that. But yes, nothing can what you feel, that's for sure.

Even from the beta it was apparent that GTS would be the graphical king.

It's awseome, I love it! People always talk about how annoying the shake is but imo you aren't capturing the wildness of these type of cars without the shake, the power, the sense of speed, the insense feeling of racing, everything gets better with camera shake. Forza adds some vibrations to the steering wheel and hands plus interiors and side mirrors etc too which just takes things even further. Love everything about it. GTS looks pretty but still completely stale in comparison (unless you can turn the camera shake on in GTS too, then it's all good).GT Sport has the smoothest tracks confirmed
I think the camera bob in FM7 adds a bit to the experience.
Graphics wise, I think we need uncompressed video with a more accurate time of day. GT sport looks great though.
Holy smokes !! What game is on the right in that vid? Looks phenomenalY'all also need to check out the comparison from a few weeks ago :

Your shitin me, right? Thats really F7 at night?Forza 7 at Night
Not true as in GTS beta didn't drop frames?
neither one really sounds like a c7 r, but forza at least sounds exciting
gt while improved still lacks a lot of punch
Your shitin me, right? Thats really F7 at night?
Perhaps? It did happen. Just trust me. But it's true that it has been locked to 60fps for me too except for this incident. No idea what caused it, maybe something about the car-track-weather combo plus something my box were doing in the background, no idea really.I couldn't care less about other stuff but honestly, if DF comes to a different conclusion than we have your word against data. That doesn't mean you are wrong and perhaps it really happened on your box but for all we know from different people and a DF test of the demo, the game is a locked 60 fps.

Lighting is better, but now, when you see the heavy rain starts, the reflections on the track and cars all in crystal clear 4k native resolution... nah, my point is there.
Anyway, its not my job to convince anyone. Just my opinion![]()
exciting is not realistic
As far as I know, this has never been true.
Heh, nah its a real video of Le Mans at night.
Nurburgring.
Thats what I figured but wasnt 100. Where getting close boys, damn hard to distinguish fantasy from the realz. It's actual track footage. Come on, son.
Anyone saying there is a generational gap is delusional.

No. Even under the most stressed settings it dips to mid 50s.
exciting is not realistic
Was it? Oops, thought it read Le Mans.

You can't be serious.Here. Same conditions, lighting in Forza again is looking last gen compared to GT.
That's where I just tune out. Honestly can't take a poster serious if that's their takeaway. If you can't tell the difference between generations you certainly can't tell the difference in the minutia that we are actually working with.
You can't be serious.
On the first page you said it was a solid 60 fps. So what is it now?
You don't have to, it can be turned off.
Much better, someone put this side by side with the GTS gameplay now because the video in the OP seems really doesn't seem fair at all given they're at different times of day and weather conditions.
Like people talking about generational difference should perhaps consider that of course things are going to look much better during a scenic sunset than during daytime with overcast weather.
I've said this about previous versions of both franchises, but the same still applys I believe.
GT has much more realistic lighting, but that quest for absolute realism makes most environments look sterile.
I've always preferred the more stylised and 'doctored' look of Forza. Everything else Forza is better at: environments, sound design, UI, track listing, structure.
That is weird.
I think the flat lightning in Forza 7 makes it look sterile not the other way around.
