Yes. There are examples of people in my life and that Ive heard of it happening to. Im a good example too. In my teen years I was surrounded by bad influences (IMHO), and due to lots of confusion due to indecent acts when I was younger, I thought I was gay. Found Jesus, realized I wasnt, and got out of that community/lifestyle.
Its not really homophobia. Theres no fear or disdain.
These devout Christians arent forcing themselves anywhere. Now this is my belief, so Im sorry if it offends anyone. Can delete it if it does.
God can work miracles, and I know he can loose the spirit of homosexuality and perversion off someone.
There not lying. Theyve all said how difficult it was at first with temptation and urges, but they all stop eventually. They have families now and seem to be pretty happy. These are some of the most faithful people in the churches around here because of how they view true it relationship with God and their testimonies.
This is my Christian view now:
When people say being gay is a choice, I think they mean giving into your temptations and living in that community. Ive had people in Highschool who were gay one year. Straight the next. Then asexual. It can get crazy and a little absurd.
