Speaking of Catherine Full Body, I hope we see some info on it this E3. I also hope to see Catherine Full Body on othe platforms like PC, Switch and Xbox and if does sell well enough maybe Atlus will decide make series out of Golden Playground. With each entry it will have its own unique story and gameplay.
With that being said, after seeing Nier Automata not getting released on Xbox even tho the pervious games was on 360, there is little hope Catherine Full Body getting released on Xbox One. Heck!!! Even Star Ocean 4 HD remastered didn't came out on Xbox one which is weird because when SO4 first came out it was 360 exclusive. I feel like MS it's slowly giving up on Japanese games all together but thankfully Xbox one is getting some big upcoming Japanese games like Valkyria Chronicles 4, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Code Vain.
I would also like to see the game released on all current consoles in the west (Swith, PS4, One and PC, and also Vita but I don't know if this will happen). You know, Atlus is now part of Sega, and Sega has been shifting the way it makes games and localizes them recently.
We are seeing the fruit of the restructuring the company went through 4 years ago, the new CEO is young and looks like he knows what he is doing. A Sakura Wars game has been announced recently, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the dream game we have been waiting for etc...
Quality has become the essential aspect of the games for him, and I see that efforts have been made about localization as many recent games have been announced in the main European languages, games like Dragon's Crown, Valkyria 4 etc... I don't know if Shining Resonance Refrain will be translated into French as well (I guess so), it will be released on Xbox One as well. Shenmue I & II too, with French subtitles. Etc...
I believe that, for the new CEO, taking into account the west correctly means releasing games on all platforms, focusing on quality and localizing in several languages. Then only after that, will he make the right conclusions on the state of the market. If you have a good product, you need to make all the efforts to give it a proper chance to succeed. If your effort is half-assed, what can you learn ?
He looks like a wise, young man
