Innovative doesn't matter, price point matters. Valve could have 20 VR games in production, but unless they are coming out the gate with a truly affordable VR solution that the majority of PC Gamers are going to embrace it doesn't matter one iota.
Sure, if your franchise is GTA, The Witcher or Elder Scrolls but Half-life?

over 12 years ago and Valve didn't even have the decency to conclude the episodic trilogy.
I get it that you're jizzing your pants over the nova prospect of playing VR catch with Dog, but most gamers these days missed the window on the franchise and don't have any nostalgia for it. Sure I dare say some critics would likely love it, but that's not necessarily going to translate into audience interest.
