Kotaku posts article with rendered CP

Can I guess who the writer is without clicking on it?

I think it is the same one who did the Article about Nintendo Characters Vaginas with Cakes in them. (Laura Kate Dale or something like that)

Would not be shocked if that is who it is.
I believe I heard Laura isn't working for them anymore? Shes back on patreon and doing freelance stuff. Also, fuck Kotaku for being complicit with cp. Rendered or otherwise its inexcusable.

Everyone is talking about it and I bet it generated quite a few clicks. So it worked. Maybe there's even more material for Schreier to shill his upcoming book.

Ah I got it wrong again. Thanks for clarifying!

Kotaku wants Clicks but now they probably have an Investigation on how it came about. It's their own fault.

Are those the same people that threw a fit with Rape Day few months ago? Bring the game back and compensate the author!

Assuming we're still talking about the US, I don't know what legal standard you're referring to. The closest I can think of is that incitements to immediate illegal action or an immediate breach of peace are not protected by the 1st amendment. Key word there is immediate, in that advocating for something long term or implemented as policy is protected speech. As an extreme example, speech telling people to beat up a certain group of people if they try to vote would not be protected but speech advocating for the government to take away the right to vote from said group would be protected speech. The primary precedent for this is Brandenburg v. Ohio. Hate speech doesn't have a legal definition in the US, but is generally just seen as speech that is abusive and bigoted. As long as it isn't also explicitly threatening it would be protected under the first amendment.

Because she gives no fucks and does what she wants. Having a kid with him without telling him and abandoning said kid to a military research organization was kind of a jerk move though. I get your point though, she was fucked up. I still think she's cool though.

I want to add that you can't let people defend digital CP as "cartoons" because it becomes worse over time. People were doing that 10 years ago and we started seeing American and Asian studios start producing cartoon CP that no longer had the 4000 year old dragon trope and they were 8-12.

Then we started seeing bigger Korean and Japanese studios putting out high budget 7 year old gay CP, sometimes with 34 yo man in them.

Now we are in the current situation where CG is a big focus within the Japanese hentai industry and they have teams producing realistic humans for CG porn. Now they are starting to do the same with CP and at that point you may as well watch the real stuff because the CG designs are aiming to be realistic.

Personally I think that there should be a discussion in the United States about whether to make these illegal or not. We've had a rise of pedophile groups across America and Europe and along with the actual CP investigators have found the cartoon CP as well.

Just make all of it illegal.

No, as long as no one's right is violated in the production and there's not evidence that it causes illegal activities, it falls under freedom of expression.
