The whole SJW/diversity in plot lines get criticism when it's not really needed and seemingly forced in there. And video games are the type of entertainment people typically don't want politics. Just like sports.

A good example is Ellie and Dina lesbian relationship. First, it's a zombie/survival game, you don't really need it to begin with. Second, even if being lesbian is somehow a crucial point of the plot, why make it so forced and blatant?

Just make a quick note of it and move on. But hey, if they want to do tongue kissing slow dances and straddle each other on a bed, I guess that's the more blatant way to tell everyone they are lesbians.

That's the problem with media. You got a gay guy in a tv show or movie, and most of the time they make it so obvious you'd think every gay guy acts cheery and wears pink tshirts.

However, there *are* lines in this whole brouhaha that when crossed, can give one party ammunition to suspect there's an agenda. While I agree mostly, it's the 'authenticity' of how changes are made and in what climate. This wasn't a magic switch where everyone was fine on Monday then on Wednesday everyone was foaming at the moutn. The initial murmurings were like 5/6 years ago when films like the Magnificent Seven completely diversified the cast. 2016 stole the show because of how everyone was misogynist and sexist due to the Ghostbusters debacle, but if you dig deeper there were as many pissed off fans about this male diversity swap as well.

However, that doesn't make great headlines. There was plenty wrong with both films aside from the cast and at this stage most people were just like 'yeah, it's noticeable and it's becoming annoying'. Contrast Ghostbusters to Annihilation for example, no one had an issue with this. And no-one had any issues with the films you mentioned. You saw the same shit with The Bourne Legacy.

Certain changes and agenda's transcend the medium and as soon as they do, it becomes a problem. Where does it stop? Shall we cheer as boats drop anchor in Boston and dozens of Korean and Mexican slaves disembark? Why did Bridesmaids become a seperate IP and not just a female 'Hangover'? There are reasons. Why can't James Bond be made a woman, but could have their own film called '009'?

People from both sides are disingenuous to support their side. I said this before, if they made a film with Adam Sandler, Martin Lawrence, Will Ferrell and James Corden as the Ghostbusters, it would have bombed as hard - if not harder.

It doesn't do any of that. If Ellie's GF was killed because she was a lesbian, and she was going after some anti-gay cult, then yes, you would have a legitimate complaint. Abby story doesn't seem like it's forcing any politics.


What if Abby was a male and she was seen beating the crap out of Ellie and Dina, do you realize how many people would complain? It would be a white male beating up two women. But they could change this a bit by changing the race of the male character, but then people would complain about a male beating up two women.

Well, I guess they could remove the scene entirely now. But no, they can keep this scene by changing the character into a female. Make her strong strong enough so that she can handle Dina and Ellie with almost no problem. Making her the same size as Ellie or Dina wouldn't be that believable. She appears to be more a threat by her size and strength alone.

The mage would have cast a spell that would have frozen the flow of time inside of the womb but allow it to progress by one month when the zygote/ fetus has successfully descended through a level.

Each level would be occupied by a new breed of Womb Demons and a boss known as a Hellish Aborter; they want to terminate you, thereby ending your mother's pregnancy from within.

Upon successfully completing progression past certain points within each level or upon completing a level entirely, the zygote/ fetus would be able to select certain upgrades that would cause into mature into new stages of prenatal development.

The game would be called Wombscape.
