Will pre-order both once they become available. Xbox Series X as my primary gaming console for exclusives and multi-platform games. PlayStation 5 for full exclusives only. I do see launch and 2021 surpassing 2013 launch and 2014 for me easily. Super hyped!!!

Neither. Xbox is releasing all games on pc and their games aren't even that great anyway.

Don't trust ps5 not to be noisy and the launch games for both consoles are usually terrible. I'll wait maybe two years before considering

I haven't seen anything so far on either platform that makes me go "I must have this", so neither.

I will probably end up buying both of them later when interesting games come out, though.

I can't vote but neither. I need more than new games a shinier coat of paint. If Sony releases PSVR 2 with PCVR BC I may get one down the line. I'll keep gaming on PC for the next couple of years.

Both probably within the first year.

It's hard to say because between two consoles and the 3000 series Nvidia cards coming out, that's just a whole lot of money to spend when I'm not really as excited for next gen as I thought I would be. I'm not really seeing the massive jump in performance or graphics that normally gets me excited.

I guess it depends how backwards compatibility shakes out and how far back both of them are willing to go.

PS5. It will be the first console I buy at launch since Dreamcast. Everything about it, minus the size, is extremely appealing.

PS5 because it apparently has a better chance given market conditions. I've never been a multi-console owner, but between PC and next gen consoles there is certainly a wide selection.

I'm going to buy both. I will buy ps5 when Horizon comes out. I need more info on he series X launch. I will be playing Halo Infinite with my friends so a Decent chance I will get series x at launch.

Staying on PC. Might get a switch sometime because of Mario Maker 2 (loved the first one on WiiU).
Really not interested in the few exclusives the consoles have (and some of these might be coming to PC in the end, just look at Horizon).

I think Sony is holding back. We don't really know what's launching with the system, which is both a little concerning but also relieving because I feel like there is still more that we haven't seen.

If this is all that's coming well then I can't justify the purchase honestly.

At this point in time though, I have faith and still plan on buying both.

I'll wait until after Xbox's July show to really nail down a purchasing decision. If anything, that's when Sony will drop the rest of it's bombs.

Demon's Souls with those graphics, no loading, and a 60fps mode? Looks like I'm going to have to buy a PS5.

Ratchet also looks cool and a good showcase of what the SSD can bring to the table, it needs a 60fps mode though.

And a few of the other exclusives look interesting too.

In terms of Xbox. I have a PC and plan on building a new one later this year.

I'm still in the "neither" category for now, I'll probably buckle to play Demon's Souls though and get a PS5 eventually.

If I should decide based on first year software I would never buy a console at launch.
I can see myself buying PS5 if Demon's Souls is out in the first year, together with multiplatform games I really want to play like Village and Elden Ring.
On XSX I think it will have a line up maybe more interesting for me if Medium will deliver, but I don't see myself interested in their first party offerings in the short run.

Lol, whatever camp theyve always been in. The showings change very few minds.

PS5 for me. PC also. Initial investments for me are going to be a nice drain on my wallet.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is another remake at launch. I would be surprised if they revealed everything yesterday.

I believe Phil said in an interview they had game announcements planned for every month after July until launch.

PS5...but its not going to be an immediate purchase. Maybe a year after its initial launch just to avoid potential hardware issue and the agony of waiting for the units to be available.
