As much as everyone is over the moon to have you back, this is equally your victory. I know how much you love this place, and how torn up you were about not being able to post here anymore. This feels like a wonderful miracle on both sides.

It feels extremely nice to be back. I consider all of you like my e family. Besides my work, I ain't got nothing else going on in my life and gaf is here to fill the void.
I'm definitely not gonna get banned ever again. I was pushing a shit ton of limits back then and was a bit too angsty at times. That's all in the past.
I'd like to thank EviLore EviLore once again for ressurecting me. It means a lot to me. I'm sorry that I was a dick.

As a curiosity, when I got permabanned back in the day for typing

"Or you can go on the internet and bitch about it."

Who was the mod that took so much offence? In my head it was Duckroll, but I've never been 100% sure about it.

I get if you can't say, but it's one of those burning questions I always wished I had an answer to.

Especially since they highlighted Bitch and my ban reason was "We don't do that"

The funny thing is I got banned for defending Dennis Dyack..... I'm not sure why I stood up for him.

Then I got banned for defending Adam Orth and said what he did on his own Twitter on his own time shouldn't affect his livelihood. (This wasn't banworthy as far as I'm concerned and I believe now more then ever)

Then I got perma banned when someone made a thread about MS needed Gold to access Netflix and other apps, and I suggested they petition Microsoft instead of bitching on the internet.

Less then 2 weeks after I got banned, MS let go of that rule.

I thank EviLore EviLore for letting me back in and I know I haven't always been the easiest to deal with, but I hope that my positive contributions to the community outweigh the negatives most of the time.

I remember once, a LONG time ago, when I posted something about the PS3 (can't remember what it was) that Bish though was BS so he gave me some dumb tag over it.

20 minutes later what I said was proven to be true. Bish wouldn't remove the tag.

I was sitting at my desk AT SONY watching that unfold. Back then I didn't tell ANYONE here I was working for Sony for obvious reasons.

Things I want that would never happen: It would actually be cool if Bish came back and made good with all the people he pissed off.

I feel like Bish was a good guy at some point, that just got swallowed whole by identity politics and a monster ego.
 
hi EviLore EviLore . any chances of getting Weilthain Weilthain unbanned? i don't know him very well but as far i remember he was a nice guy utill you talk about the "flat earth" which was the subject he had a lust for talking about.
 
What exactly happened with Doctathompson? He was so funny and I miss his reactions everytime PC platform disadvantage was mentioned 🙂.

Hold on, that’s how Xbox cases look like? Damn 👀 Are all the buzzwords slapped in via photoshop or is that really how it will look like? Unfortunately, it will look like that. I've seen a great concept boxart on Reddit today and it looked great. Reminded me of the OG Xbox's boxarts.

It's because they see or hear about NeoGAF being a paradise for right wing people... When that isn't the case. It's a good mix of folks... But because not everyone is going to PoliGaf, the regulars are usually right wing folks. The ones who have those racist views are usually self-identify as right wing. Like TheGreatYosh and others ... A smaller number have been left wing indentifying who spout some equally racist crap.

A few posters have given me pause like in the Rayshard Brooks thread... But JUST given me pause.
