Well, I wish we had 20 minutes of Halo gamepay, but I am expecting less than 10.
If they don't talk much they can show a lot in 1h. Expect 3 minute trailers as well

I hope certain games have longer gameplay sections shown, like for Fable and new IPs. We really don't need long gameplay for racing games or even Halo, games where we know how they will play.

The live stream allows Microsoft to capture a worldwide audience of millions at the same time. IT's incredibly valuable from a marketing point of view to know that for an entire hour on a given day you will have the full attention of the gaming world. We have announcements from people in this thread that they have taken time off to watch it live. They wouldn't do that if it was just an upload. If you just upload a video, people watch it when they have time, for many it could be days or a week later. And your message hasn't penetrated as much or as fast as if you had organised an online event.

Probably the release date of Halo Infinite is 11/7 or November 7th? What if that is close to the Series X launch date? I guess Series X can still come out on October and Infinite on November 7th!

No game is releasing on a Saturday. Especially not when a lot of people are still ordering physical copies through online retailers, and mail delivery on a Saturday isn't the norm for most countries.

Lmao it's the same length as the PS5 reveal and they showed a lot of games and extended demo of Rachet I don't see the issue. Not to mention they have an hour long pre show that will probably get the indies and all that out the way that Geoff is hosting. So it's a two hour show in a way.

Why indies? They already had a showcase for indies and several third party, this one seems to be focused on first and possibly second party.

Doubt they will let Geoff handle anything hardware wise unless it's pre-recorded footage by actual Xbox HW guys that he just rolls and then snorts at after the video plays.

Hardware info such as...? There's not much we haven't seen. Series S is reportedly another event in August.

The worst part about these shows is seeing that giant xbox logo, then under that a bunch of game studio logos. Then seeing a bunch of games I don't care about or rarely hear about again.

Really hoping the ship has changed course. I haven't been excited about any from Mircosoft since 2007.

I was a 360 nut (Bioshock, Gears, etc.).
Clearly the games are the missing piece. I think if MS can bring games back to OG or 360 level, theyll be in phenomenal shape.

3 days! It's hard to believe after all this time we are finally going to get some real gameplay of Infinite. Is Fable a given for the show you think? I'm pretty much keeping my mind off things for now. By Wednesday though I'm sure I'll be jittery with anticipation.

Either Fable or another RPG from Obsidian/Playground Games will definitely happen. Some people said two of them can be revealed but my guess is 1, and I will be extremely happy if it is Fable.

I'm not really the pre-order type, I'll wait for the smoke to clear before making any decisions. Probably pull the trigger on XSX/PS5 in early 21.
