Trailer's very good. My only concern is that the twilight boy doesn't somehow carry the billionaire charm though - but hopefully we'll see that side of Bruce Wayne in the movie too. For me, the contrast in those two characters within, really makes the whole Batman character.

Just watch Cosmopolis or the Tenet trailers, he's got it.
 
Cautiously optimistic. I like the director, most of the actors, and the tone in the trailer is promising. Bonus points for one of my favorite Nirvana songs, even though that is neither here nor there as to how the movie will turn out. The Batman costume is a bit meh, but that's not a big deal.
 
Absolutely fantastic. Not going to lie: I had zero expectations for this thing. Between the skinny Bats, the b tier director and the Riddler as main villain I would have bet anything this movie would suck. But this trailer got me completely hyped. Bravo Reeves.

Reeves said the costume will evolve. This is Year 2 and Bruce made it himself and you can already see slashes and stuff on the cowl from him going out every night.
 
Not a huge capeshit guy, but I think Pattinson was such a based choice. He has done some real work lately, from Good Time to The Lighthouse, it's safe to say he's a legit good actor. Not many guys turn their career around like that, so major respect for the hustle.
 
Nope. Every Batman film that didnt have Christopher Nolans name on it sucked badly and this movie isn't gonna change that. And you can include Batman vs Supes and Justice League in that group.

Edit - I should note though that I loved the writing for and casting of Jeremy Irons as Alfred in the League movies. His dead pan delivered saltiness was awesome.

Looks great for the realistic style batman movie that some people seem to prefer.

Robert Pattinson is an actor so anyone hating him for his roles in the past are strange. His mannerisms can be annoying but again an ctor should be able to hide them so I'm hopeful he will do a great job if batman year 2.

Sadly I'm here too. Hasn't been a good day for the Batman. Not hating...... hopefully it turns out good but I'm not betting on it if I were a betting man.
 
I'll watch it. A Batman movie is always a must regardless of the actor playing him.

I hope the movie doesn't do anything stupid by having Harley Quinn cameo.

Nah. And you shouldn't either. A lot of what we saw in that trailer was filmed in a studio. The funeral scene, the bat cave, the manor, I think him putting the whooping on that penguin thug may have been in a studio as well. GCPD was a studio I'm sure. Plus they're still doing some on location shooting Matt said himself they're still shooting in Liverpool. With a population of hundreds of thousands and only 60~ active covid cases I anticipate wrapping the shoot will be pretty smooth. Doubt we'll notice.
 
That was actually a decent trailer. Looks like an even darker universe this time around since Gotham has multiple villains on the loose at the same time.

Different timeline. This is an elseworlds Batman movie similar to Joaquin Phoenix's Joker film.

That said, Batfleck is apparently still going to be around. He's even said to be part of Flash's new movie.
