New promo art. I really like that font they are using.

Softest looking Batman I have ever seen.
this seems like terrible casting.
Cedric Diggery is dead.
Ben Aflac dad bod Batman. I was not. The Snyder movies are not that good. I was a fan of Nolan’s, “swear to me”.Congrats. This is a dumb post.
Pattinson has proved over and over again that he’s a fantastic actor, and Reeves is a very talented director. Their previous projects speak for themselves.
Were you a big fan of Snyder’s fat murdering idiot? I bet you were
this is exactly the direction id go if i were making a batman movieDidn’t see this discussed here yet, but the film is reportedly going to be a “graphic, horror film” - if test audiences are to be believed (and a growing number of reports).
Thoughts?
I’m ok with this, but I for one hope they don’t abandoned PG-13 Batman films either. Children love the Bat, and we are seeing a serious push into R rated cape films. This will be a cool foray, I just hope there is going to still be content for younger viewers in the future as well. I know that isn’t always a popular take, but Batman symbolically represents something kids today need IMO.
Where is king Tut? He was always a fun villain on the Adam west tv show.Is that more Joker? Geez....enough already. Going to that well again? Doesn't Batman have any other villains?

I just saw people looking like the Joker.Where did you get Joker from? Riddler is main villain.
How about The Bookworm (Roddy McDowell in the TV series)Where is king Tut? He was always a fun villain on the Adam west tv show.
Why not use the Condiment King for that sweet fast food licensing money...How about The Bookworm (Roddy McDowell in the TV series)
Any of those good villains would be great. How about The Bookworm (Roddy McDowell in the TV series)
Actually they really need to lean into more 'comic-booky' fun of the 60's comics and have outrageous villains rather than the dark, gritty, dour...same crap over and over and over again.Any of those good villains would be great.
Lee Pace would be a great Batman
they miscast Batman terribly. he would be a good Robin maybe
Lee Pace would be a great Batman
what is with the emo eye shadow?

Not a huge fan of that actor.
Yes, because grounded and realistic has been such a failure recently for the Batman franchise…
Boring overated crap...couldn't watch more than an hour of it.
people loved it as an alternative to the endless cgi ridden superhero bullshit.
Oh, I hate that brain dead crap as well.
And as they prove, commercial success is no marker of quality...The Joker was a 'critics' film. Anytime 'critics' praise a film like this, it's only because they think they're being smarter than the plebs who flock to the MCU films.
..it was boring, pretentious, art house crap.

lol what? Were you under a rock when the initial Joker reviews came out?The Joker was a 'critics' film. Anytime 'critics' praise a film like this, it's only because they think they're being smarter than the plebs who flock to the MCU films.
I'm just saying that DC and Warner needs to lean a bit more into what made these characters popular. Comics were fun and campy. The Joker, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and JLA were all a slog and dour. Only Suicide Squad was a bit more like the comics.Yes, because grounded and realistic has been such a failure recently for the Batman franchise…

You are right but it would be nice to have a 'fun' Batman movie ...and Superman. What comics do you read exactly? Because Batman hasn’t been camp for decades.
It’s not about tone. It’s about quality. The Dark Knight is one of the greatest movies ever made, Batman V Superman is a fucking turd. Both ‘dark’.

“Dark Knight trash” what the fuck ever. This already looks 1000x better than that Dark Night trash.

Joker had the most fascinating gauntlet to get through up until release.lol what? Were you under a rock when the initial Joker reviews came out?
Critics were hating on it with wild abandon, claiming it was inciting violence from white supremacists, toxic masculinity and incels. All the buzzwords.
Audiences for the most part loved it, and critics were panning it. It was by no means a "critics" film.
