Wow one dude posts are GIF and the whole forum goes mental. I feel like some people are making the most of us desperate nerds. Like who even does that?? If you know something either say or don't. Making a mockery out of people.

On the odd occasion I've been to the strippers, I've found it more fun if you acknowledge that nothings going to happen. Take away any obligation and you can have for what it is. A little pretend flirtation mixed with some alcohol.

The "insiders" are the strippers and I'm throwing the money around like I'm putting someone through college.

Now I just gotta work out what mix of charm and $100 bills gets me the VIP show.

Or, nothing else happens but we still had fun.

Agreed. Definitely not more than $499 if Sony is still sticking to it's narrative about wanting to 1) for the PS5 to have the fastest adoption rate ever, and 2) for selling 10 million PS5 by March 2021. As for the XB Series X, Phil Spencer has already said that they will not be beaten in power nor price, so the most expensive XB Series X should be around $499 as well. Personally, if Sony is true to their words, I'm still expecting the PS5 disk version to come in at $449, which represents a tremendous value, giving Sony the possibility to meet their 10 million sales estimate in a very short 4-month window.

XSS cheaper than PS5 DE.
XSX more TF than PS5.

XSX could still be US$599 with a $499 PS5, and technically Phil's statement remains true (unlike most of his other ones).

$499 would be great value in my book. I'm still going for:

PS5 (fullfat): $499
PS5 (digital): £399

XBsX: $499
XBsS: $299

The biggest hurdle that the XBsS has is the confusion over its support. Will 1st party studios support it or will they drop it like they are with the XBO. Message is far from clear and - let's be clear - MS have not officially announced it yet. I find that strange for a box that we're assuming is releasing this year....

an interesting read!

I know how well this is going to go down

Hope that helps with people who are confused about the two styles of feedback. Purely from a haptic experience standpoint, comparing the two controllers are like comparing a cheap racing wheel with basic vibration to an expensive one with real force feedback.

Sadly some people is just so damn stubborn to understand the difference between adaptive triggers and rumble triggers or voice coil actuators and rumble motors. Not even that thread is going to make them accept the difference.

The rumble trigger implementation in Forza was one of the things that got me to "pull the trigger" :messenger_grinning: on an X1. Experienced it round a friends place and was just so impressed with how it changed how I could properly feel my way out of corners. Well implemented and not simply treated as a box ticking exercise these sort of technologies can really impact the experience. I don't think any other title used the feature so well on X1 - not notably anyway. I'm looking forward to the advancements and focus on the new tech in the dual sense. I'm guessing it will largely be Sony studios which use them extensively, but even that makes it well worth it for me.

The thing is with Ryan and his back peddling is it isn't crazy to think cyberpunk 2077 will be the best looking game for a while and that is cross generation.

And I bet the absolute majority of games released for ps5 and xbox series x in the first year or two won't look as good as the last of us 2 or God or war.

I still think potato mode graphics at 30fps for the xbox one version of halo would have allowed a great looking halo infinite

Huh? in next gen there are already games that looks better, and in Cross gen they didn't show anything yet, and honestly i don't think it will beat games like GOW, TLOU2 or GOT in visuals. No saying the game doesn't look amazing but saying it's the best looking game is just, hell no ... ROFL

So... Activision is just giving a free upgrade for next gen if you buy any edition that's not the standard edition, maybe that cross gen version will be like $80 or something
There are three editions of the game:
- Standard Edition
- Cross-Gen Bundle
- Ultimate Edition

The Standard Edition is the base edition available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Cross-Gen Edition includes the the base game but also the current-gen and next-gen versions of the game. This means Activision does not plan to offer free upgrades, but rather make users buy this edition to get both versions. Players who buy the PS4 Cross-Gen will get the PS5 version when available. And players on Xbox One who buy Cross-Gen will get the Xbox Series X version when available.

There's also the highest edition of the game, the Ultimate Edition, which includes the cross gen bundle and bonus content for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

So no smart-delivery in normal edition, only in ultimate bundle :(

We still haven't seen CyberPunk running on a console. I doubt it will look that good.

Cyberpunk 2077 will look great and amazing, on next gen at least, for current we'll have yet to see, but definitely not the best looking game in any case. RDR2 already looks way better than C2077. Obviously this is just some statement but it won't take away my excitement for the game.

RDR2 world is mostly empty so I would say GTAV is a better comparison. Also based on Witcher 3, the game os definitely going to look fantastic on next-gen. On current gen, it's more of a Witcher 3 on Switch situation.

$600 isn't bad for a 7 year value. Even better if you saved in advance. But alas, not many have and are waiting for the announcement before they start to find ways to get the cash.

In general, it isn't. Especially if you can do 0% APR for 1.5-2 years. Still, there are many who want one who have just enough to get one, or, are paycheck to paycheck and making sacrifices to get one (Parents who want to give kids a really great Xmas gift in hard times for example)?

Every $100 saved helps.

Just trying to catch up on the Gif. I think that is the only 'comment' from HeisenbergFX4 HeisenbergFX4 and to me it is our mans reaction to this news that can be interpreted as shocking in either a good and bad way.

Given today is Tuesday I would normally suggest good (Sony) news and Friday would be bad news....Unless this news is coming from an outside source?

Do we know where the show events will be streamed this Thursday? Is it only going to be Geoff's site streaming? Because his DS5 stream was a shitshow bandwidth-wise.

Re: Haptic feedback. I was thinking about it. The part of me that can't help himself from being a dick can't wait to read about the first time someone smashes the controller or throws it through something when I'm the heat of a CoD or Battlefield match, the gun trigger locks and they can't press the controller button in.

I think they'll have a warning about it in the game and most likely a very very small number of studios outside of Sony studios would bother about it just like the touchpad so it wouldn't be an issue. Hopefully.

So that scenario won't happen, I don't see why in CoD they would block a trigger pull. Not a gameplay mechanic they use.
That's only something Deathloop is going to use the DualSense for, as far as we know. Cuz guns can jam.

Also you're talking about adaptive triggers, not haptic feedback. Different things.

I don't know. If it is easy to program into a game and adds immersion, it might be used a lot. Rumble in general is in tons of games and this is the generational leap from that. Far less of a gimmick than touch pad IMO.

Every PS4 game I have ever played uses the touchpad and lightbar in some respect.

You're right. I messed up and confused the terminology. I just woke up not that long ago.

It's not part of CoD gameplay now, but it doesn't preclude it from being discussed and added. It likely wouldn't though. Would likely piss off more players than it is worth. You're probably right there as well.

It's the kind of reaction GIF one posts when finding out there are no more PS5 news until September?

Found this from WB Montreal's press release for Gotham Knights. Funny how even publishers get confused about Xbox names.

"Gotham Knights is playable either solo or as a two-player, online*cooperative experience and will be available in 2021 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®4 Pro, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox Series X and Xbox One X and PC."

There are always mentally ill / sick / anger management problem people that cant stay calm while gaming / doing other things.

Like NHL gamers, I have witnessed many that scream, rage, use so much force that sticks scream for help and throw their controllers because they are too immature to handle their loser emotions (emotions of losing). Or cod etc gamers whom scream curse words in the middle of the night.

So they will smash even NES controllers in their rage, but it is interesting indeed if they get triggered ( :messenger_beaming: )by locked triggers.

I just personally dont understand how some people cant stay calm, gaming doesnt need big movements or lot of force, yet some rape their controller with fingers like apes. Then they cry how controllers are bad, and cant understand that on normal situation playing games is kind of like petting a kitten, no need to use almost any force, just right amount of movement fast enough, which doesnt equal into controller making creaking noises.

Like why do they even game if it makes them so angry, weird? I would not do things that make me rage, which would be something really extreme that I would really dislike

I think that had already been expected at this point so probably not. It could be a range of things. If the Chris Pratt 'oh snap' Gif Heisenberg Tweeted is related it could be a big TP game going exclusive that could divide gamers, a pricing/release shock (either way) or maybe even something related to PlayStation as a company like a big person leaving/being fired?

Basically HeisenbergFX4 HeisenbergFX4 has us by the balls.....

I completely agree. I will say, when playing MLB The show, I trash the right thumb stick with analogue swing. it's not intentional, and I can't even tell I'm being rough on the stick. Multiple controllers later, it's obvious I am. There is a discernible difference in stick tension between the right and left thumb sticks after a while.

On point, I can see a game using something like trigger lock causing rage moments for sure. As is, so many players look for things to blame being killed on other than skill. "Oh, the other person is using a modded controller".. "Damn lag!"... "I was trigger locked". That's last one is without adaptive triggers. Imagine the rage if it were part of the gaming experience?

It can't be the price. Are we already forgetting Cerny's words?

"We have a responsibility to our gaming audience to be cost effective when it comes to what we put inside the console"
Well, he also said it would have an attractive price concerning the resources in the system.
