Sony said enough and shut down the FUD campaign themselves. Sony have realized that every time they are about to drop some news the dark forces that be attempt a smear campaign. Tomorrow is going to be a special day for all Playstation fans and everybody else is just going to have to watch and grit their teeth.

And there it is! I just KNEW that Mod of War Mod of War was a 'Volcano High' guy! And secretly....well never mind but let's just say I'll second the call for a say...20-30 minute deep dive of 'Volcano High?' I just KNOW it's what everyone really wants to see! Forget about the UI, I want to know more about that Pterodactyl student in the first trailer...what are their motivations, etc. Maybe even devote the REST of the showcase after that to Bugsnax!

A few of them were excited over at Era, even to the point that they started giving Blue Nghoro props for being right about the recent FUD reports. Only for Sony to come out and shut it down. They are sadly running out of time.

Well, there's another revelation. XSX is only "semi-custom' per that tweet. PS5 is 'Custom RDNA2. CLEARLY a leap ahead!

Yeah, that report about Sony cutting PS5 production numbers was full of questionable statements. Bloomberg has been very unreliable about tech news lately. Good that Sony responded.
Yield issues may still be present, but they will definitely improve over time. Sony did not denied them, just commented on production numbers...
It's still 10 mil. consoles by the end of the year, right?

Exactly! And I, with my vast experience in the industry can tell..that shows a lot of detail on the.....silicon......thingies......and stuff. And stuff! Wow! What cutting edge tech! So cool I can't even explain it to you all......just....you wouldn't understand the silicon thingies and the details. Hopefully AMD or someone will simplify the description for the peasants so that everyone can understand what I understand now!

Damn, nothing reliable has leaked about Sony's next gen plans so far, whereas the team with the 4TF box with no exclusives has had everything leaked left and right. Playstation definitely prepared for this launch well.

What interests me the most on the Xbox side is what that 12 tf machine can do head to head vs the PS5.

I know we wont see these comparisons until well after launch but I want to see Cyberpunk and Call of Duty some of those big games what are the differences.

Plus I have always enjoyed Forza so really look forward to seeing that on the XsX.

Most Call of duty games already run better on PS4 and Pro because they optimize more on PS4 and Pro. That will most probably be the case also for next gen particularly with the small difference of power between the machines.

IGN has reported more than once it runs 4k 120 on next gen systems, hope this is the case :)

Actually, that was an item of discussion around the first launch reveals of the XSX and then for PS5. A LOT of people have wanted to know if WiFi 6 would be supported. I didn't think there was any way, but I'm glad it is. The speed of my PS4 was awful online and the PS4Pro was better but still.... Hopefully this is another 'bottleneck' that the manufacturers have decided to eliminate! I think it's GREAT news and will be REALLy good for people who go all digital!

Which is disapointing; but maybe they'll use Spiderman to show off what's possible with PS4 BC enhancements?

if you pay attention to the reply sony sent, it says that they never changed plans since the beginning of production.
that would be ~6mil until end of march according to all earlier reports.
so, "shut it down", I am not so sure about it, at least from this statement.
They never issued a "this is false" statement when the reports were running wild, first about 11mil and then about 15mil until end of march.

Well, You are right if we can trust the "early report" too... Which I doubt we can...
