E-celeb Alanah Pearce is in Cyberpunk 2077!!!

Cyberpunk should have worked their asses to had the nextgen patch at launch... not in this shit.

Now none who jumped on PS5/Series SX is gona buy this game just to have it sitting for months waiting for a patch.

Am I alone in not liking celebrities in games?

Someone I don't like - he will ruin the character for me. Someone I like, he would still be there to pull me out of the game and remind me it's just a game.


(Also a pointless waste of money)

It's always interesting to me to see a known figure in a game and it looks nothing like them, lmao. Alanah doesn't look horrible, but it doesn't look spot on. From what I saw Cohhcarnage didn't look on the money either, but close. So they're definitely a bit off, but there's been so much worse.

I find it hysterical though when said figure is like, "LOOK I'M IN THE GAME!", you look and it's like.... No? Lmao. Then it looks like someone tried to make that person in the character creator.

Would you know this was the case here without this thread? It's not like she's a hollywood star that asked them for millions for it. Could have done it for free for all we know, lol. Nobody here seems to have known anything about her before this, and still finds ways to hate it happened, lol.

Even seeing this thread I doubt I'll even remember she exists (and yet I'd still know they got a person to voice act those lines, wow, immersion breaking to be able to tell these polygonal models and the game aren't *really* real) by the time we play and get to that point in the game anyway.

That's not normal... at all. We are all people just trying to make it. The fact that making fun of people over the internet is so normalized is kinda fucked...all it does is shine a spotlight on the person that is doing it insecurities.

It's perfectly normal to dislike social media personalities being in games. It's not normal to get angry or say vile things about someone, but there's no problem criticizing those personas and the use of them. Look at how the Kardashian's have made a killing being personalities on a reality tv show. It's perfectly normal to be annoyed that that kind of crap is rewarded and plastered all over the place.
