what happened to pc master race?

Games like Crusader Kings 3 and Medieval Dynasty are about as far from casual / childish / streamer culture as you can get. Those are some quality neckbeard games.

What's in the August NPD for consoles? Sports, sports, COD and five Nintendo games including one released 3.5 years ago.

To each their own.
 
And yet Among Us is still more fun than the vast majority of AA/AAA games released over the past generation.

Some specific people have some exclusive games in their walled gardens and are mad about other people enjoy other games than theirs.

Not like PSN top sellers are anything special either. I wonder how many people are gonna get a PS5 just to play GTAV on it. Probably a few million.

Not really. PC master race was always about playing games console peasants could not handle/get. By now it's just about playing the same games with higher framerate and slightly better IQ - minus the HDR.

Yeah and I value having that level of customization. I like controlling the FOV and removing shit I despise like film grain, vignette, motion blur, dynamic resolution, and chromatic aberration. I control the experience.

Still according to PC gamers, I'm pretty sure PC oriented games like Thief 2 and the original Deus Ex are exulted, unrivaled to this day.

Imo, no, their gameplay was shit and it's shit today.

But if we are talking about depth and possible aproaches to gameplay, those game piss on everything else thats new, may it be on PS5, PC or whatever.

It's always funny to me the main argument is PC doesn't have exclusives like playstation so it's a useless platform. So I guess the other 99% of the 3rd party games I play during a year that all have a day and date PC port simply don't exist?

I play probably 2-3 playstation exclusives a year and absolutely love them. But for all the other games I want the best experience possible, not a gimped experience. For exclusives I'll play on PS5.

Why do people on this forum assume most stick to one platform and therefore inevitably miss out on potential exclusives? Most of my friends including myself have always had each console plus a gaming PC. Console for exclusives and everything else on PC since with a high end PC that is always the superior experience.

Knowing you haven't played it, i can only assume what you're trying to imply. You mean GoT user score being so high just because it's a masculine story about honor and defending your country from invaders, while TLoU score sits at such low numbers because of woke influences?
If that's what you're implying, you're wrong, GoT is legitimately a masterpiece. Think Witcher 3 condensated with higher production values and a combat so deep and satisfying will turn your cock into steel.
I have zero doubt you'll agree with me when you'll play it for yourself, be it now or emulated in a couple of years, the game won't age anyway.

PC gamers are not 'the general public'.

They are a 'master race', so cognitively superior that only they are capable of assembling a rig.

I constantly hear how all of their PC's are high end monsters and way better than all consoles and they play demanding games all the time.
However this chart and twitch and every other metric contradicts these assertions.
