Just got my Sony Direct PS5. Sony really delivered in my opinion. My Walmart PS5 should be ready for pickup this afternoon.
Walmart now:
Mine is in Scottsdale AZ Walmart and says same thing expect pickup after 6pm, which I figure is just a place holder and it'll be ready sooner than that, since it's said that since day 1.

it's 3:33 PM here and my FedEx still hasn't updated since it left the facility in Kentucky this morning. I think today is a miss sadly... but for sure it will come tomorrow. Hopefully earlier than later !!

FedEx is the worst. I signed a signature release since my condo staff isn't always present to accept deliveries and the driver decided not to drop it off anyway. I can go pick it up after 5PM today (west coast), but I was hoping to get everything set up before this evening.

Sorry man, I'm guessing many are just having issues due to a huge influx of orders, for me the service giving me the most problems is UPS. They delivered a package of mine to some access point that doesn't exist and then somebody accepted delivery under my girls name.

I managed to get a Disc PS5 from amazon.ca, arrives saturday!
Might digital edition by best buy is already on the way but arrives next week. I think I'll return it or ask my brother if he wants it.

I reported it to do the honest thing. They sounded like they didn't know what to do. The rep said I would get a return label in the mail within two weeks after putting me on hold 80 times and a confirmation email after the call for the return. Never got an email so I wouldn't be shocked if I never get a label.

If you have an account, you can use it to add to the account delivery instructions such as - Leave at a particular place or signature not required. I don't have the steps, but I do that all the time.

Hmm, the fedex tracking page on my PS5 went from estimated today to pending. It shipped from the same state that I'm in, but I figured I wouldn't get it until tomorrow. Fine with me though... I just found out that I don't have to work tomorrow and I'll be playing COD Cold War in the meanwhile

I decided to opt out of the hassle of trying to snag a PS5 preorder. I'll just wait until they're in stores. I want to join in on the fun and see the new changes, but I am not trying to hunt down the white whale like I did last gen. I can wait a month or two.
