My crazy ex did go through my phone once and looked at a year old texts and freaked out on me though. The funny thing was the girl I was texting (also an ex) I had 0 interest in dating anymore. Tried to be friends with her but she was also a toxic bitch. Told me I would fail in college so I finally cut her off from my life.

I had an ex that found an old photo of a previous girlfriend of mine from ten years ago in the bottom of a drawer and freaked out. "You are keeping and hiding this because you want to get back with her and still love her" type freakout. That former girlfriend was really fit though.

This exactly on the flipside my wife doesn't know my pass-code but I let her know that she has nothing to be insecure about by devoting my time to her and my kids. Treat your phone as a luxary not a necessity.
 
Fiance has phone password, email password, and computer profile password. I have nothing to hide, so I'm not afraid to let her see any of it. She knows this, so she doesn't feel the need to look. Trust and all that.

Edit: I talk to other friends that are girls. Occasionally look at porn. She doesn't care, because she trusts me. If you don't have trust in a relationship, you don't have anything.

presumably the capital riot was a catalyst: conspiracy theories and misinformation are getting cracked down in here now.
There's been a gradual shift in neogaf culture over the past 4 years or so and you could see it at a micro level in various users' post history; once normal rhetoric becomes conspiratorial hyperbole. It's not good for you nor I and certainty not neogaf. As far as the reset thread goes, I don't think it will get shut down. But the general premise of that thread can facilitate unwarranted hatred and vitriol towards individuals or groups of people. I think the re thread is important as a "bridge" between re and gaf, in that their moderation is comically atrocious and should be pointed out, while returners (who should not be vilified) have a smoother experience transitioning back to gaf with the help of that thread

There is no argument for things like white nationalism. The folks I think you are referring to weren't banned because of frivolous reasons. You can be against racism/hatred against white folk, but when you start saying that there should be only white people or deny others for being nonwhite like those two did? You cross a line.

It's happened to me, on a date and I got a video call, can't take it because it's an ex. So you reject it, and then the date asks who that was. Of course you can style it out but it's better not to be randomly put in that position. I muted my phone for all dates after that, it's the only way to be sure.

You might want to make your position more clear rather than timing it that badly and assuming people will know exactly what you're thinking.
