No doubt this is a weird year, and most of it links together with a red vs blue influence.
- Election
- BLM
- Antifa
- Capitol Hill storm
- Covid (loss of jobs, stuck at home, vaccines etc...)
- Stock market dropped like a rock and then rebounded hard (gut wrenching roller coaster ride where most stocks dropped 30% in March. One of mine dropped 75%)
Time to step back folks.
Yes, some of us got affected more than others in terms of job, money and health. Yes, some of us might have lost someone to covid etc.... but if you ignore the media blitz and arguing with other people on forums (GAF or any other forum), I bet most of us didn't get affected as badly as the media say. The media makes it look like every block in every city is burning down and even the politicians positioning is BS. From heated debates yelling at each other, then suddenly Kamala Harris is Biden's VP. So it shows even they don't take things as seriously as it looks at face value.
NFL playoffs are on (Brees blew it again), and NBA and NHL seasons barely started. Have fun.
Tune out the crud and conflict (as Howard Stern said one time on radio.... conflict gets ratings) especially if you get too heated. I know in forums people want to vent and win every debate, but forget it. Leave the heated threads and let the people with thicker skin battle it out for the silly internet warrior crown.
