Hitman III |OT| I bet Agent 47 is making a Killing

The transfer seems to have worked fine, but I didn't get the trophies from the Sniper Assassin missions. Judging by the trophy percentages it's happened to other people as well.
 
What's the deal with past game integration on PC? Do I just have to link my IOI account on Epic and it should pull my data from Steam?
 
It's so cool to have the entire game in one client.

Now the trilogy look like an hologram bridge: where do you wanna go today? Who do you want to kill? A couple of choice and bam, five second later on ssd you're set.
 
My progress (or lack of) has been transferred into my game (Epic version) and while the First games levels are in there, the 2nd games levels did not. I thought this transfer was supposed to include those as well. Did I do something wrong?
 
As my saves have been transferred successfully (so in the end, I simply could not play yesterday, so really, this wasn't a problem for me), I gave a try at the first level of Hitman 3.

Great potential in this level, I simply did the first opportunity and followed it, in order to discover the place. It was great fun, I like how the level is built vertically, and it was not difficult. So a great way to kick off the game, and I can't wait to try some funny stuff.

I'm hesitant to do my transfer. When it shows my level mastery after I've selected my save to carry over it lists some missions with "0" mastery? I just saw that others have had the same issue. Is there any updates on whether this will resolve?

Also I decided to play some more Hitman 2 to see if I could "update" my save file/ profile but it hasn't seemed to do anything to change anything. I went from Level 116 to Level 121 and it still says I'm level 116 on the webpage.

This is annoying as hell pre-ordering a game, pre-installing a game, and buying the most expensive version of a game only to be held back from playing out of fear of losing any progress you make into it.

I had the same problem where the carry over site showed "0" Mastery for a few levels. After the transfer completed, it all showed up correctly in the game, so I wouldn't worry about it.

My carryover finished overnight. Everything seems to be there, the only issue I've noticed so far is that the Mission Stories all show "0/#" for each level.
 
It took me awhile to figure out why I couldn't import HM1 levels on PS5. I had to download the whole HM1 game, open it up, go into the menus and download some sort of legacy pack that was free. After doing that the access pass drops from $30 to $0 on PSN.

I played through the first level of HM3 yesterday. It's my first HM game. It's pretty fun messing around with all the different options they give you. I took out a guy by beaming him in the head with a muffin. That makes the game ok already in my book :)
 
So I just did the carry over and it seems to have worked fine, but the Hitman 2 levels aren't appearing in Hitman 3? How do these become available?

You can buy the access pass to get them now or wait for IO to give them to players that own it on steam to give it to us for free
 
Finally managed to get it all over on the Series X. It runs a hell of a lot hotter than 2 did on the Series X

It's the first time i've smelt cooking plastic since owning the console :/
 
Yeesh the HDR is seriously broken and washed out on the PS5 (anecdotally, every platform) which is weird because it was decent enough in 2.

I've played around with all the HDR settings in game and TV—only thing that seems to partially work is cranking up Black Adjust on the TV and letting the TV try and fix the mess.
 
The ability to play all three Hitman games in one interface with the next-gen upgrades makes this one of the best games of the year so far.
 
Do you guys know if I buy Hitman 3 on PS4 store and pay extra for the Hitman 1/2 maps, will I get the full story of Hitman 1 and 2 as well?
 
Anyone unlock the challenge for leaving the mission area on a bike in Dartmoor? Is there a second bike on the map?? Same with photographing Alexa during the family meeting - I've tried it from all angles and the challenge is not unlocking.

Dartmoor was very fun though, I especially liked how unlocking the harder shortcut made some challenges much more managable.
 
Hmmm, been reading some posts here and found out I'm not the only one with this issue. Did the progression transfer from my Steam account to Epic. Seems to have worked fine, yet I can't play the H2 maps.
I guess IO still has to get that sorted?
 
Haven't been able to transfer progress on PC. Transfer site just has 'Next' greyed out on step 2. This is annoying. Was excited to watch my son play, but he (reasonably imo) doesn't want to lose all his progress in 3 when this transfer finally works. I can't remember the last time I spent $60 on a game. I'm regretting it very much.

Does your IOI account show Hitman 2 as a registered game?
 
The THRONBRIDGE mystery is a fucking fantastic way to to set up getting to your target. You obviously don't have to do it but wow. The mansion also looks amazing.

I've seen one bug and that's a patron standing on a table in DUBAI. Other than that (and that stupid connection issues with everyone hammering the servers) game has been a solid 60FPS/3K.
 
Im new to the series and finished two missions until now

it is quite amazing... it is open .. u feel free to approach targets when u want and how u want ... it is not stressful stealth... it gives u so many ways and opportunities to approach missions

I started with hitman 3

If I liked it I will go back to play the rest

I do know it is not good for story playing it this way but I feel the story in these games not that important as gameplay
 
The story is about as slight as it can be and is only told in two minute cutscenes after a mission. You aren't missing anything.
 
Man I could do without the overarching storyline, it's just so boring. I wish the game was just 47 doing missions for clients all over the world, nice and simple. Now every mission is personal and the ultra, ULTRA serious narrative is just so cliché.

Game itself is excellent, fortunately. First mission was neat, the second one is incredible of course.


Edit: kinda sad that this thread has 4 pages while the console comparison thread has 26.
