Before she went batshit crazy, Rose McGowan could have made for a fine Red Sonja. Nowadays it's hard to imagine who they could cast, not a lot of tall but fit celtic types anymore. Gina could have done it at her fighting weight for sure, now...not so much. She isn't much of an actress though.

So few women can pull off that RS sexy swagger and not look ridiculous. Maybe Katie Sackoff? Or Jessica Beal? Lily Rabe is cut enough in her new show. Hopefully this Hannah lady hits the gym and does the Zack Snyder program. She is gonna need abs, delts, thick triceps, and a hell of an ass if she wants to pull off the classic look.

We managed to suspend our disbelief (as is often required these days), but that doesn't make it believable. It also helped that the first movie was pretty good (let's not talk about WW84 lol). At least Gal has the height for WW - this Hannah woman doesn't check any of the boxes for Red Sonja... and she's not a good actor, either! As someone mentioned earlier, she was quite mediocre and one-note in both Ready Player One and Ant-Man 2.
