So eh... yeah. Looks like an A24 movie allright.

Is it sad that as soon as I saw it was an A24 film I could guess not only the tone the trailer would show but also the color and look of the film?

I must not have enough of the art degree, do acid on weekends spirit in me to understand the horror here. This looks like one of the recut trailers that takes sitcom footage and puts horror music over it.

The Lighthouse, Moonlight and Uncut Gems have the same tone and look?
Hereditary does. Midsommar similar look. Most indy films today especially in the horror realm have that washed out, bleak look to them. So fucking predictable. Probably not really an A24 exclusive thing, more horror films so I should've worded that better.

I'm sure the average movie watcher(comic junk, dumb action movies etc) probably wouldn't watch or care about most a24 movies

So the weirdo woman who cannot get pregnant adopts a sheep. The husband who loves her indulges in that crap, and it causes a rift with his brother who tells them on their crap. Then the biological father of the child, who's rolling at least 20 billy goat's deep, arrive to take it back and fuck shit up doing it?

Meh... Not for me i guess

I absolutely fucking love what A24 are doing. I loved The Lighthouse and can't wait for The Green Knight. In a sea of endless, endless mainstream shit, they're producing some of the weirdest and most interesting movies. This looks like another one.

Never heard of A24 before, but I'll have to search out more.
:messenger_open_mouth:

these are the ones i've seen. bold are my favourites but the others are worth checking out too:

Ginger & Rosa
The Bling Ring
Under The Skin
Life After Beth
Ex Machina

Room
The Witch
The Lobster
Swiss Army Man
Into The Forest
The Blackcoat's Daughter
A Ghost Story

Lady Bird
Hereditary
Midsommar
The Lighthouse

I don't see how that's disturbing? Maybe the mysic. I play Animal Crossing New Horizons and my character talks to Animal people all the time. It's just a lamb child. It would be great if we had hybrids in real life. Seeing a half human half fox would be amazing. It's like furry fetishes come to life.

Well its the director's first full length movie.

Idk just being a A24 name is enough, atleast for me. Uncut Gems was quite average.

I was kind of thinking the same... By the look and tone of it, I'd swear it came straight from Wales. She can't get pregnant. Her husband is boinking sheep?? Out comes a real life Lamb Chop! What the hell is happening here...
