Don't forget there was a Tremors tv series as well. Tremors 3 was a pilot for it.
I think I've only seen the first 4 films and the series. Need to get back to them.

Watched Death at an Old Mansion. It's a solid 'whodunnit' type of mystery film. I also watched The Twilight Zone movie. Excellent and goofy anthology.

When it gets to the Jaime Kennedy sequels....well, just keep your expectations low.....real low.

I watched It Feeds. it was alright. I liked the design and idea of the demonic entity, but it was a film that screamed "Hey. Let's go copy a James Wan horror movie."

Next to Bring her Back this is my most anticipated Horror movie this year.

Worry Reaction GIF by MOODMAN

Saw that yesterday, really creepy. Thought that was Michael Shannon as the voice, but nope, but still, pretty solid cast in this.

So it's the director of Barbarian. And the website this teaser links to also has a news article (the link mentioning the underground prison) about the events of that film but with a disturbing omission (spoilers for those who haven't seen Barbarian):

So Tess survives, which is what we saw at the ending. Justin Long's character's body is mentioned (the actor), so his death is acknowledged. They confirm the previous homeowner has deceased, seemingly confirmed they found his body in the tunnels (since he shot himself in front of Long).

But the Mother's body is never mentioned despite Tess seemingly killing her at the end. And she should have been pretty close to where Long's body was.

how i met your mother oops GIF

Just watched The Witch and having heard so much good stuff about it I was a bit disappointed. It wasn't terrible but certainly not something I would have paid for had I known.

Different strokes and all that just genuinely curious why? Not enough gore? No jump scares? Pacing? Acting? Cinematography? Story?

The acting was good and I'm of the opinion that gore and jump scares aren't even needed in a good horror. It was definitely a well made film but it just wasn't eerie or creepy enough I guess. A good horror should make you feel uneasy and this just didn't.

If Caleb's death scene wasn't unsettling to you or didn't make you feel uneasy. I honestly don't know what can.

I shouldnt have taken the bait I see we've gotten to the part where you get to be smugly dismissive. Fair enough
Not being smug at all, but as far as on screen deaths go it really was pretty mild. It wasn't drawn out, it wasn't violent, he looked pretty happy and peaceful when he actually died. I will give credit to actually having a child character die onscreen though, most directors would shy away from it.

Torture porn fan? Not me but fair enough

No, as I said before, you don't need that sort of stuff to make horror tense. It could be because most of the film takes place during the day and is well lit. If it took part at night, especially with candle light or just an open fire it would likely have been a very different scene.

Yeah but from my point of view having that scene go down in the middle of the day just made me feel like "Damn they are truly screwed nighttime, daytime doesn't matter they are truly and utterly fucked" 🤣

Ooh that looks really interesting. I'm In Day 1. Haven't seen any really good horror at the cinema since Oddity. I skipped Nosferatu and Longlegs was just ok in my book.
I liked Nosferatu, however it missed the mark just a tad for me. Agreed on Longlegs. It had a good atmosphere but unfortunately did not deliver.

How was Oddity? Not had the chance to catch that one.

Nice atmosphere, creepy and well acted. Ending fell short for me I'd give a 7.5. Longlegs 6.5-7

I've got some goggling to do. There's tons on that list that I haven't heard of.

Heart Eyes GIF by Sony Pictures

Heart Eyes is better than I expected

went in totally blind with low expectations, thinking it was some Netflix slop but what I found was a rom com horror film, where both parts were executed well

I'm not a fan of rom coms, but this did a decent job when it comes to them. as for the horror, the movie was gory with some neat kills.

it blended both pretty well with a decent amount of humor

it isn't amazing or anything but I found this an enjoyable watch

I just finished watching this and I was surprised too. I'm usually not a fan of Slashers but I felt this one was pretty good Solid B Grade from me

I am attending an advanced screening of this tomorrow. Will report back

My brother has already seen it and said it was insane and borderline masterpiece. I'm hyped.
Thanks. I'm there Day 1. There has been no hype for this unfortunately. Most people don't like disturbing, unsettling horror they want jump scares and slashers.

I get that people like what they like but imagine liking comedies but not if theyre too funny. Didn't Sinners and final destination do crazy #'s? I'm not knocking them but that's not what I want out of a horror film.

I'm waiting for those to come to Streaming/VOD

I'll make my own opinion on whether I like those films and not based off any one else opinions

I haven't like any of the older Final Destination films though. I do like some of the Death scenes though

The only thing I remember about final destination is the scene with logs being hauled. 🤣. To this day nope will not drive behind a semi hauling logs.

Came to post Bring Her Back tailer, but it looks like that was already done. From the trailer alone, i could see this being the best movie this year.
You've got to be quick in the horror thread posting trailers. It's looking like it. Weapons is looking like it'll be good also. I'm not sure what else is on the horizon? 28 years later I guess.

Guilty pleasure but I really enjoyed Amityville 3.

I'm also going to be watching Krampus, which I've seen a couple times before and I loved it.
