im playing and right now and fuck me, i want it to end already. they stretched it out way too much. also hate the enemies that have no weakness and you just have to mash the shit out of them for like 10 minutes until theyre done.

Not ruling out that possibility, but I didn't think it was anything related to Crisis Core. Just the thought of the game being ported to other Consoles. With the Switch most likely to be a cloud streaming version.
If it's a HD remaster of CC or something, I'm down for it.

I'm not sure where you dreamt that up. I had the game on PS4 and didn't finish it because I found it full of filler content.
However, that being said. I would probably revisit the game and play it a little differently, but only if it was included in the subscription I already pay for.
Xbox players will lap this up, it'll sell a bucket load.
It's only 10 minutes. It'll be half over by the time you go grab something to eat.

Part of me doesn't want to buy this because of all the bullshittery that S-E went through with various exclusivity, even if it comes out on Steam. I feel like I'd be rewarding their awful practices.
The other part of me sees those Tifa mods for the PC version...
It gives me the same moral dilemma as when Samurai Shodown finally came out on Steam after being console exclusive, then Stadia exclusive, then Epic exclusive, then finally to Steam like 3 years later after the online was good and dead, (even though it died because of no rollback long before that).

I disagree those missions are filler, but they are good for leveling, and I love the combat system so much that I want to fight like all the time.

Game shows us cloud running 4 seconds in gameplay, they will play sephirot's emotional CGI scene for 3 seconds in perfect and serious Japanese, tifa falling from a tower or a floor with her left arm raised screaming a lot, Cloud gets sad without knowing what to do, Final Fantasy letters come out on fire... They will give more time for the developers' comments. it will say it will come out in 2023... 2024... 2025... ps5 swan song.

I'm so hyped for this presentation and hopefully literally any news about FFVIIR Part 2. Part 1 is legit one of my favorite video games of all time, and I just... really want Part 2 lol
If they do show something visual, I'd expect some CG cutscene or something, but gameplay footage would be lovely. In general, at the verrrrry least, I hope for a release window announcement (personally, thinking sometime 2024 at the absolute earliest)
