REV: Kirby Tilt and Tumble?

Does anyone else think this is a perfect candidate for the REV?

It dissapeared in 2002 and I haven't heard anything about this thing since.

Hands-on impressions

Indeed it would be perfect for the Revolution.

Interesting idea for the Cube, but forced "connectivity" would have severely limited potential sales.

You can move the revmote left and right, and it has a big honking A button?

Kirby Airride 2!!1

I'd rather see revisions of Kirby Blockball or Kirby Pinball Land on DS though.

Riiiiiight. Apparently you never played marble madness or super monkey ball to understand what you just described would be all you need.

I've played SMB and MM before, I'm just mentioning that the simplicity of the Revmote also fits with the super simplicity of Kirby's other Gamecube game.

Speaking of SMB, I keep hearing dissapointment over Touch & Roll. What's the deal? I can't get a good explanaition on how the controls work.

I don't know if simplicity is the right word. The controls would be simple, in an elegant, using the rev-mote for all it's worth, type of way. I think a roll - o - rama would kick ass could be extremely challenging - unlike kirby air ride.

The team responsible for Kirby Tilt N Tumble / Roll-O-Rama is the second Zelda team under Aonuma's EAD SDG3. The group is working on Zelda DS.

did tilt n tumble sort of just morph into canvas curse? Canvas curse made me a kirby believer, I'll definately buy whatever whacky concept the next kirby game is.

No it became Roll-a-Rama and left disappeared. I never saw one screenshot or vid of roll-a-rama from the E3 it appeared at and I still want to as it sounded great. You could pick up objects on your way round using a magnet powerup!

It is a shame really. Both Kirby Tilt N Tumble 2 and Roll-O-Rama looked like a lot of fun. Nintendo scrapped it, and the team went on to develop The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures instead.

How would this game get on with DS linkup play?

The DS could have the Tilt Sensor from Yoshi and Wario Ware inside the GBA slot.
Wirelessly control the ball/kirby on screen using the DS for movement. The lower screen of the DS could be an item/map/score screen. The upper screen being the game once you drop off the playing level on the TV screen, you fall onto a 2D maze on the DS where you tilt to try and load Kirby into a cannon, ready for firing back up onto the main game! Sorted.
