NeoGAF 2.0 Error Reporting & Feedback Thread

Can't post pictures when editing a post: the post picture text with the button vet obscured. And couldn't post pictures in my headphones thread. Both on Mobile

Seems more like a browser problem to me. No issues on my brave mobile/desktop, or on my waterfox desktop with privacy extensions

You probably have code mode turned on, it disables some functionality like images when enabled.

It's under the three dots and has an icon of two brackets. "[ ]"

Nope it didn't

The "upload images text" overlays the +image button so there's no way to click on it when in an edit post

It's not a browser problem because multiple people reported it months back and it still hasn't been fixed. Besides, I've tried multiple browsers anyway.
 
Just wanted to report that for some reason, two step email authorization doesn't seem to send emails anymore after the last site update. My mobile is still logged in for the time being, but my pc is locked out.

Thanks for the heads-up. We are working to resolve this.

Some email delivery issues should be resolved now - so I'd recommend trying again. If that doesn't work, it may take a couple of days to fully resolve. You can PM me if you'd like and we can get you sorted out in the meantime.
 
I'd like to lodge a complaint. No one has gifted me Gold yet, and I find that "very uncool". Please drop all other functions to solve this problem immediately.

Your pornography-sourced one was being algorithmically flagged. It's against the rules to use a sexualized avatar, they're supposed to be G-rated for a variety of good reasons. It was removed and you re-uploaded. Avatar privileges were then revoked.

At least I have a reason, now.

You know my avatar wasn't pornographic at all, and I'm not the only one who have porn actress as avatar, but whatever, rules are rules and it's not important.

The problem here is, as always, there's still a lack of communications, no reason behind a report. You're right, I re-uploaded my avatar, but that's because I thought it was a bug, only then I had a warning.

In fact, I thought, it has no sense to ban my avatar when the same site address me with the tag "18+ member" as a joke.

I've been having an issue with what appear to be imgur images on here not loading. I thought it was a Brave browser issue, but I think it's due to my using a VPN, as when I turn VPN off, they'll load.

Anyone have a guess or know if that'd be a NEOGAF or Imgur "issue"?

Edit: the issue started about a week or two prior to imgur deactivating links posted when the user was not logged in

Yeah, same issue. It was on a different site, though, so yeah, I'm think it must be an issue with imgur. That being said, I think I was logged into their site when I uploaded the images.

Sorry GAF but I had to use a DNS with adfree since the site was unreadable on my less than 3yo mobile phone. Now is a missile.

Scripts are just too much, you need a gaming PC to read a forums these days. Naturally, this is not just GAF but many other sites out there.

Is there a program to monitor how taxing are these scripts and maybe avoid the heavier ones?

I can read GAF on my cheap dinky phone and crappy 100 dollar chrome book. You don't need a strong PC to read forums, mate.

Not this one, but there are forum extremely heavy. GAF on desktop doesn't have many ads, but the mobile version... lately I can't even scroll a page without stutters.
 
Probably working as intended but these slide up ads at the bottom of pages are really fucking annoying. Probably not much to be done about them, but I'm just giving my feedback.

What happened to the red and white oreo that showed a post had been participated it? I stopped seeing it around a month ago. Was the function removed?
 
Not an error, but why does the NEOGAF "feedback" show under members' profiles in DMs? Does it still have functionality or is it deprecated?

This is marketplace feedback. We debated only showing it on the marketplace page, but decided to show it in PMs as well since a lot of buyers/sellers work out the details of a marketplace transaction via PM. It's still very functional. I wish that functionality on the site got used more.
 
Not really a bug, but I'd REALLY like to be able to disable auto-loading new posts, while still supporting GAF through Gold. I don't find it useful at all, just annoying with how it makes the page jump so I lose my place. And I never want to read threads out of order, which is the result of new posts appearing on older pages.
 
I dont know if it's my Google or Edge browsers which have improved or updated on my phone, or GAF crew did some improvements.

But maybe the past week it loads much better on my old iPhone 8. I used to get it hanging like it cant load a page and then I'd have to try again and eventually it might work. Now it always works.

Click on the button with the three bars on the upper left and then go for latest threads.

Or go all to the right in the same row when you are in a specific section and click on new.
