Remember when we were told ABK was bought to get rid of Bobby. I can't wait to see the defence for Kotick if it happens.I mean, would we really be shocked if he was hired by Microsoft to replace Phil Spencer?
I think Jim Ryan would acquire Bobby before Phil can. At least for a 2 year exclusive.Sounds like Bobby is joining Microsoft games studios one way or another. He's gushing.

Funniest mental breakdown in years.Seems like he's calmed down a lot since threatening UK national security.
The queen's ghost slapped his American head to the purgatory. No one threatens the queen's land.Seems like he's calmed down a lot since threatening UK national security.
Bobby needs to be entirely removed from any industry.Seems like he's calmed down a lot since threatening UK national security.
Sounds fantastic. We were told repeatedly that the most important thing is to free Activision and it's employees from Bobby so that works as well.
Don't.Bobby needs to be entirely removed from any industry.
Good point. Disregard my comment.Don't.
How else can we have a vampire CEO?
Chances are the same as me getting in bed with the hottest model.Did he mention their chances at any point?
Corporate don't give a crap about laws.Did the MS lawyer really say the UK should respect foreign law?
Cause that's amazing when MS do everything possible to skirt UK laws regarding paying tax. I know it has nothing to do with the CMA or CAT. But wow.
Bobby needs to be entirely removed from any industry.
That was such a cute narrative from the script feeds at one time. Now they are silent when it appears that he would join and supplant their mascot. No it wouldn't to be honest.
And most importantly, the added bonus is that it saves Activision from Bobby.

Alongside ‘yay for worker’s rights’ right before Microsoft made 10,000 people redundant. It’s almost an art form to put your foot in your own mouth at every turn. That was such a cure narrative from the script feeds at one time. Now they are silent when it appears that he would join and supplant their mascot.

Moneyball, baby!Said it before, but no matter what happens now he doesn't lose.
Masterfully engineered.

Now MS can use that to blame ACTI on the deal not going thru for the payout.Pretty sure during the depp-turd trail I watched blackbelt barrister say a lawyer telling lies is actually against the law and they could be punished for it.
Would love to see the CMA get the douche done for it lol.

Software giant back in EU sights over its Teams video and messaging service.www.politico.eu
How about now?Bobby is so ugly lol. If I look like him, I'd kill myself.
MS biggest obstacle is the renogation. After that, they need to overcome the original decision. Then try and to get appropriate remedy in order to get it approved. All of that, while racing the dead of the deal.Am only getting that from what's been said in here. Did they honestly say that?
Cause it's not like the UK is ignoring any laws with it. Just blows my mind. Especially after the giant dummy spitting Kotick & Smith did after initial block. Not respecting the UK process and going full on fuck them and fuck that country mode.
And the corporate media will give him the platform, not pushback on it, and carry the water. They virtue signal and play the population for fools.Topic wasn’t really about the Microsoft deal as much as it was him basically saying there were no workplace culture issues.
Interesting to see how this plays out for him
They thought their lobbying and PR hubris could impact the UK and its fully independent (so far) regulators.maybe they should have done that when CMA told them so instead of now?
because prior to this they just kept pushing those 10-year deals which the CMA saw right through & had already told them weren’t good enough
Handsome BobbyHow about now?

Am I sexual (predator)Bobby’s Back, Alright!
(Backstreet boys reference…)
Microsoft boss Phil Spencer has now told staff he was “disturbed and deeply troubled by the horrific events and actions” at Activision Blizzard and that Microsoft is “evaluating all aspects of our relationship with Activision Blizzard and making ongoing proactive adjustments” as a result.
Such a weird turn of events, with Phil saying he was deeply troubled by Activision
Workplace culture…
And now Bobby is denying it entirely??
They sure did. Even offered him a sweetheart deal for the "deeply disturbing and horrific events and actions."Microsoft boss Phil Spencer has now told staff he was “disturbed and deeply troubled by the horrific events and actions” at Activision Blizzard and that Microsoft is “evaluating all aspects of our relationship with Activision Blizzard and making ongoing proactive adjustments” as a result.
My memory is fading on the CMC from yesterday, so running out of material...
but, my last observation was when the judge was discussing with ATVI's counsel as an intervener the issue of them and Microsoft potentially duplicating submissions adding to unnecessary paperwork, and ATVI's counsel and Beard were saying all the right things, giving off the impression they were fully aligned, and then it all looked a bit weird for a minute when the judge effectively told them to operate as one submission. To me it seemed like the body language of the two leading counsels changed immediately.
It was like they'd been asked to dance with their sister and initially it seemed like it was because they each have a client and it was about their duty to the client and billing, but in the minutes that followed when they'd worked out how they were going to use a word document, the body language and angle of each counsel to each other looked more adversarial IMO than before, and only at that point did I realise the guy that was sat very close on the CMA first chair's left side - throughout - was maybe ATVI counsel and not CMA.
IMO it also felt like Beard's Eu expertise and reference to the electronic document system that the EU use for tribunals, he said should be used for this tribunal went down like a lead balloon with the UK CAT judge. IMO Beard only fully recovered his Britishness stature with the judge when the discussion of tribunal wording of England & Wales, and the absence of Scotland and Northern Ireland came up,- Beard legally asserted the tribunal decision would be for all of the UK and the judge could legal decide either way.
The part of the CMC I missed slightly and didn't then understand was the comment about the "potential car crash" comment from the judge to the CMA counsel about the public information versus confidentiality/disclosure being his "car crash" and wondered if this was why Beard became slightly more tense, if the confidentiality/disclosure issue was actually his client's exposure, or if it was something completely different. I only wondered that, because the CMA counsel look completely at ease after the judge was taking ownership.
They sure did. Even offered him a sweetheart deal for the "deeply disturbing and horrific events and actions."
Just introduce yourself via pronouns on Teams, all is forgiven then.
Yep. Many a colleague of his bought the low dip after his PR statement prior to their $95/share offer. That was nothing more than underhand tactics to further depress the stock price.
More acceptance.
I think Kotic has doubts that the re-negotiation, after the 3 billion payout, is going to go in Microsoft's favour.
That said, he believes the company can still be successful without Microsoft.
"We have a great company. We have an enormous amount of momentum, and we have an extraordinary balance sheet," said Kotick.
"And we can continue to be successful alone like we have been for the last 30 years. But it'll be great if the deal goes through because I think it's the right thing for our industry."
More acceptance.

So without the 10-years deals the cloud market could be better stronger and faster?maybe they should have done that when CMA told them so instead of now?

ABK is free to make deals on their own while remaining third party (like they do now), without a sole gatekeeper consolidating the industry. So without the 10-years deals the cloud market could be better stronger and faster?
Nah. MS would dominate the market with it without Activision. And they will carry those markets with their games. So without the 10-years deals the cloud market could be better stronger and faster?
