There's no logic in going with this analogy with two different software products.

CAll of Duty is the same product on PlayStation and Xbox. $70 a year vs a paid subscription on Xbox isn't going to dramatically change console choices.

I believe that's due to it being a preexisting game with parity even though MS tried to push xbox specific updates which MS didn't end up releasing. I believe this was more about other releases like Minecraft Dungeons which got no PS5 version but a XSX/XSS version. It was trying to justify these two actions.

This is the main reason I stopped posting as much in this thread. This acquisition has thought me that video game company execs are are bad as any other industry. I guess I just didn't want to believe it. Sony and MS (and the execs they employ) are pretty fucking scummy.
