honestly I'd disagree only because if anything we're finding out Microsoft is worse

Sony hasn't gone out trying to buy publishers or lied about their intentions, we've seen that with Bungie where just like Sony had said their next game is still coming to Xbox

meanwhile Xbox flat out lied saying Bethesda wasn't about "taking games from other platforms" and that exclusivity would be a "case by case basis" only for us to find out they KNEW they had no intention of following through with either of those things

at least with PlayStation they are who they show us they are, Xbox have been shown to be completely scummy in their actions with all the revelations we've gotten during this court case

They do have to bring it all home for sure. I believe the same.

But look at the stuff they managed to bring out from the internal emails. This is very impressive. For example, they are asking about why was Tim investigating how much the Xbox revenue will increase if Sony's ABK revenue will decrease. And how they intended to make all Zenimax games exclusive, and not just new IPs.

Very true. And that's why you can't trust them about the COD titles in the future (or future Activision titles). They can easily change their mind.

everyone here on GAF likes to hate on Jim Ryan (I often joke the only people that hate him more than Xbox fanboys are the PlayStation fanboys) but he's never tried to be like "Oh I'm just one of you, I hate everything my company does too but I have no power despite being in charge of this department." like Spencer constantly does

now we have emails showing that Phil hasn't been telling the public the truth at all with what his actual goals or strategies are

And those contracts explicitly state that they can back out at any time, which is pretty much confirmed by the way MS is handling Zenimax.

Nobody with any sense should take these people at their word at this point.

Which is precisely why the FTC has pursued their line of questioning today. They have proven that Spencer lied under oath before and willfully lied to regulators about Zenimax, proving the Judge cannot take their "promises under oath" at face value. They will do whatever they want.
