On my Xbox I just installed beta, it launched asked for another update. Then I was playing, whole 5 minutes it took before I got into the actual game from end of initial installation. Need to test it on PC now. This is what my experience looked like lol

Btw. I am still shit at it, only level 5, but played 4 matches so fat, need to learn the maps and pickup the best load-out for myself.
I think that HQ is with us to stay, unfortunately. It doesn't take long on PC with gamepass... I think I got a 6gb download the morning of and then after 1 or 2 game restarts I was in.
It stupid that we have to go into HQ and then launch the beta and I think it was the same with MWIII
Bro why isn't this the default?!?! The other way is objectively worse.
Isn't there tac stance?Feels good so far, definitely different from MWIII though, missing my tac stance already.
TTK feels kinda fast though.
Ps5. Sucks as I have a 7900xt PC but if cheating is already happening then i'll go console
Yep, this is a huge problem with omnimovement. Unless they fix it so you don't stop shooting while doing it, it's just a very predictable free kill.I'm sure you can get some cool moments with the omni dives but right now they just seem to be like salmons leaping into my gunsight for easy kills
Yeah this is so frustrating.1. Update the game

9. Wait for shaders to compile
10. Finally play
Total pain in the ass
I think the beta is till mid-week for those that pre-ordered or use game pass and goes for another few days after that for a real open beta.Is today the last day for the open beta
I thought it was the 4thIs today the last day for the open beta
Yes, MWIII can be even faster with movement speedAm i remembering wrong? Am I old? Has CoD always been this fast paced.
Probably not since it's part of COD HQ which has to be downloaded to play it.On PS5, can I just preorder the game digitally to play the beta and if I don't like it can I cancel the preorder? Haven't bought much digitally.
When do I have to get to level 20 for the weekend 1 rewards? Is it end if today or the 4th?The beta ends on September 9th.
Next weekend they add more levels to unlock when the open beta starts.

I think it's about the exact same for all the betas back to Vanguard. The final version always plays better and looks better.Really want to enjoy this but it's currently still unplayable for me on PC. Constant packet bursts (even in the training grounds) make it a stuttery mess.
The excitement of it being new makes me do this a lot too, but I can see that it causes more harm than good. Instead of thinking it's a GQ model pose, I thought it was more like poop stuck to the side of a toilet, but your description is more classy. The running and jumping sideways and different directions is going to take people time to adapt.
I had a guy jump out peakaboo style and land on his side like he's doing a shoot for GQ. Couldn't aim worth a damn after the initial move and easily shot him. I had the same issue which helps a little to playing with a mouse but I think it's going to take quick reflexes to properly aim while doing dives like that.
I had same issues in MW2 and 3, packet bursts etc constantly and I still get them now in BO6, best way to play at times is consoleI think it's about the exact same for all the betas back to Vanguard. The final version always plays better and looks better.
Does the beta support 120fps on Series X?
im really liking the beta so far the only issues ive had.
1.) Has anyone had trouble playing with friends? We would get in one match and then it would kick us all saying update after every single match. usually took 20 minutes to link back up between matches
2.) Am i remembering wrong? Am I old? Has CoD always been this fast paced. The last time I played a lot was MW2 back in the day and I dont remember all the springting. The bane of my existence is the people diving from hallways spraying wildly lol
Kinda why ive been enjoying Valorant more lately. Being more tactical and reminds me of CS 1.6 with hero powers. It's been fast paced but the last 5-6 years or so have gotten worse with it, almost solely catering to the SMG GO BRR crowd who can't stop sprinting and mashing their jump paddle because thats "skill" now.
The new MW 2 tried to slow it down (and it was the best of the recent CoDs, Fight me.) but of course all the zoomers cried about it because they might have to stop and think before they go rushing around.
Series S does, too.
That's not what he's asking, there's an exclusive weekend one reward that public beta players won't have access to.The beta is continuous. They add more levels and open it up for everyone on Friday.

No it literally says weekend one exclusive, you can't unlock the green squish operator skin with the public beta.I don't think it's exclusive. It's the level 20 reward. Meaning you can unlock that in weekend 1. Then there are more rewards in weekend 2.

yes, that's what he was asking:Well in-game it says 3 days.
Is it end if today or the 4th?
yes, that's what he was asking:
should be fine, the splash screen motd confirms you have till the 4th to unlock it.Usually the in-game counter means how many days are left. But I'd do it today just to be safe.
Early Access to Black Ops 6 Open Beta is live now. Reach level 20 during Weekend 1 - from now until September 4 - to unlock the exclusive green Squish Operator Skin.
