Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Early Access beta is going live now!

Can anybody test is 2-player split screen works in hardcore TeamDeathMatch if possible? or if it will be supported when game goes live

i played it over the weekend, despite is essentially being a bastardized version of quake now with the movement i had fun, looking forward to the full release.

I don't love the sniping, at least not yet. The ttk means you really need to make that shot, and the sway of the guns and the new movements means old-timey hardscopers that set up to control a lane usually get hammered. Maybe I'll warm up to it.

I played last night to level up the AK-47 and try other weapons. For whatever reason, it felt horrible. There were constant drops in connectivity, shots were not connecting, and the ones that did barely did anything. I see someone, ADS, fire. They could turn around and 1-2 shot me. I watch the kill cam and my shots are going past them and they're constant hits on me. Complete opposite of what I was experiencing in real-time.
Played a couple of matches, and I average around 1.5-1.8 KDA, and I was getting lit up no matter where I spawned.
I noticed using the head set monitor (L1/R1) perk, it didn't really pickup footsteps that well, and the accompanying animation it plays to activate takes forever. I got blasted a bunch trying to activate that thing. I think the animation time needs to be shorten since it really doesn't provide much benefit. Reload animations kind of a buzzkill too since the map size will have you unload and then shot in the back before you can reload again.
For the most part, it was okay, but last night made me quit and walk away

So what does this game bring to the table compared to say, Cold War? Probably not much right? It pisses me off that the multiplayers of these games are only given 1 year of attention before it's on to the next one.

They had it in one of the previous games. Black Ops 3? It was really annoying back then, having to watch characters do stupid dances after every match.
I remember it being in BO3, Infinite Warfare and WW2.

Don't think it's been in there since (definitely not in Cold War, just played it an hour ago), and pretty sure it wasn't in BO4 either.

edit: oh yeah Vanguard had a variation of this.

Same as always, slightly different and some new maps.

Rumour is this will get a proper year 2 this time around, much like II was supposed to have. Whether that actually happens remains to be seen........

BO3 and Infinite Warfare are the two I played out of those. Seems like such an unnecessarily irritating feature - you don't look at somebody body-popping in the winners' circle and think that guy is super cool. You just want to get on with finding a new match, and you're never going to see or recognise those players again.

It looks particularly terrible in BO6.
The animations were at least somewhat acceptable in previous iterations.

Sorry for anyone I run into during the 2nd weekend but I will be running nothing but the grenade launcher welcoming all those into the open beta :)
tell me more

Why they got so many in EU where the market is smaller and the landmass so concentrated? Are the COD studios in EU or something?

If you are looking for any logic when it comes to big studios sometimes you won't find much of it

Probably because europe has a lot of large internet exchanges, the ones in amsterdam and frankfurt are the biggest in the world.

So they're like basically or nearly free to operate because of that? If not, I'm struggling to follow the logic behind clustering so many like that while leaving half of California, three-quarters of the Eastern US, and the entire middle US dead empty. I'm assuming China and Russia are wastelands for political/governmental reasons.

Did anyone else have a lot of stutter and lag the last night of the beta? Certain maps seemed worse than others.

Nothing fancy really, just solid gameplay.. bravo

One of my friends who I play with says that some COD streamers seem to perform significantly better when playing on stream when they can control things than when they appear at events, like game/announcements/promos/reveals, etc.

I've played a reasonable amount of the latest COD and found this beta different feeling enough that I struggled with the way the guns felt, it was enough to put me off a little and also some of the map layouts felt like they lend themselves to camping (particularly the train yard one). It seemed like there was a lot going on, lots of angles to think about and watch for and weapons that felt tricky to depend on, and a whole new movement system. I am not, of course, a particularly skilled player in the grand scheme of things.

Looking at the way that guy would run into new areas dramatically swinging his view around and his aim seemed to just land on people so immediately, I find myself wondering if it's possible to be running an aim bot on a beta like this or not? Or is that just how some people can play practically immediately on a new game with new weapons maps and movement?

I'm not sure if there is a massive price difference, but having so many excellent infrastructure data centers close together means pricing is also competitive, there also might be deals for renting several locations at once.

Because they cheat. There are tons of videos of streamers being caught cheating while they stream.

And finally, take a break from the Jackal PDW for a minute (it's been tuned for Weekend 2 btw) and equip the all-new Tanto .22 full-auto SMG at Level 30
all the sweats in shambles.
everyone will just jump on whatever their favourite streamer says is the best.
