Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Early Access beta is going live now!

Getting addicted to that stim pack

Haven't bought a COD since MW19 but I loved the two games I've played. Movement looks crazy when you just watch videos but feels good while playing it.

After playing the Beta I like it and plan to be there day one.
It feels quite different from Cold War and even MW2 imho but it didn't take long to adjust.

I feel like grinding for this beta banner takes too many hours.
I played at least 6 hours today and I'm lv 20.
Lv 27 feels like overkill. But oh well.

This game rocks. Everything feels so good. My only complaint is map design. I like Skyline but everything else feels a little meh. I pre ordered day one and feels like it's going to be another solid COD year.

MW2 and MW3 were great but it will be nice to play something a bit different and likely better based on the beta.

Just got to level 10.
the internship good job GIF

Everything feels good. Everyone is super sweaty but that's to be expected. I've gotten pretty used to omni movement at this point. Hard to say if it'll be the game changer that it's touted to be. It's nice to slide and dive in every direction but the players I'm seeing aren't playing radically different than how MWIII is played. Maybe that'll change at the highest level but I feel if you took it out it wouldn't be radically that different.

Faceoff is the most fun im having, some maps in the core moshpit or whatever are still laggy and feel super weird frame drops etc

I am really liking all these new maps. All of them are fun . I can't stress how important this is because the last few years the MW 2/3 new maps they added are mostly garbage

Had more fun than last week. But visuals are bit blurry and sounds are not varied enough

Same.

After reading some of the comments here I got the vault edition on Game Pass and wow... this is very good.

The sleeper agent field upgrade is quite fun. Got lots of kills using it but unfortunately long cooldown time.

I can see the daily challenges expire at 5pm GMT. Why? I thought we moved from this the last few years. It was 12pm GMT previously. Annoying to me. But ultimately doesn't change much lol

Imagine so when you get in from work there's a refresh?

You thought wrong, it's been this way for years, at least since cold war, because it's the same time the store refreshes.

EOMM, SBMM.

Yet millions upon millions have FUN!

Do you buy CoD every year out of interest?

There's a reason it's coming to Game Pass, because with each iteration there's less players.

And would people enjoy it the same if they knew they were being manipulated? What's fun about that? I could never look at COD the same way after I found it out and countless other people couldn't as well.

I would rather lose every game if I knew I was legitimately losing them. Not where the games serves me a few wins to make me feel good about myself and then decides to frustrate me in order to try to hook me to keep on playing.

SBMM =/= EOMM

Just like loot boxes and other such mechanics, gaming is becoming very predatory in that it tries to capitalize on people's bad behaviors (such as addiction).

Look at a game like Socom 2/3, Halo 1-Reach, COD4, GOW1-3… people played those games because they were good and fun. They never had nor needed any such mechanics. Their matchmaking was mainly CBMM which matched people based on connection quality.

Wouldn't shock me

I played a group today on PS only lobbies all under level 10 and all that that sideways smiley face in their names and every one of them was cheating
I just don't get the cheater gen. Do they feel some sort of accomplishment "winning" in an online PvP game?
I guess if there was money on the line or something, it would be more understandable, but still sad af. But to cheat for the sake of cheating, wtf!

I have used my nephews several times as an example but they still cheat to this day as do most of the guys they play with

Those Cronus Zens are super powerful

Oh and I don't understand the fun in cheating either

I have 1 of the older Chronus models, but I got it so I could use my old X360 fighting sticks on XBO, etc

Pretty sure I played with some of those today, running around with perfect aiming. Its kind of obvious when the camera slows down in replay and the aim moves from head to head in view. Maybe they were human, but it was almost too over the top.

To be honest I must have been lucky, I can only possibly say two people were a bit sus in all my beta playing and it may be that they were just good tbh.
