First Footage of PROJECT ETHOS, New Medieval IP from 2K.

Represent.

Represent(ative) of bad opinions

Thread title got you excited huh
:tom:
, its just another generic GAAS trash hero shooter with the exact same artstyle
:kaz:
, will be dead in a week or less.

imagine still releasing this after Flopcord.

My god, these new age devs need to leave the industry. A stick has more creativity.

Rogue like shooter sounds like a great single player or co-op game but not as a hero shooter. At least they are trying something different but the market is getting a bit over saturated with this art style.

And?!....

I'll ask again... what specifically about the footage in the OP looks like it's even remotely anything to do with a medieval setting?

To be fair that's a cool looking stick, highly stylized.

Will join concord's crave the day it's out

please cut costs. Cancel the project. Fire all and be done with it . Go make nfl 2k something

On the plus side. Good thing Geoff showed this now and at The game award show . Because this alone kills any good thing the show might have

Call me weak, but if they paid me a tenth of what they are paying streamers to play it, then I would play it for two hours or more.

I'll repeat what others have said ... Medieval? Nothing shown in it is medieval.... Oh, that was the codename/project name at one point (maybe they changed direction completely, or even a different game), not the time period, how disappointing

Honestly as soon as I see a game described as a "hero shooter" these days I immediately lose interest.

Oh and it also has that colorful "I want to be Fortnite/Overwatch" aesthetic. How brave and original.
