Kagha is next in line to lead the druids.OK I will ask you the question again, very very simply: why does Kagha specifically hate refugees more than the other druids?
Kagha's hostility toward the refugees isn't just about prejudice, its created by her unique personal history and her relationship with a shadowy organization
Her rigid stance represents a conflict within herself. Loyalty to Halsin and his teachings versus her new allegiance to the Shadow Druids. This tension shapes Kagha's distrust and cruelty toward the refugees, pushing her to see them as "outsiders" who disrupt the grove's order rather than people in need of help
She's also struggling with her own insecurities about her position. Halsin, a kinder and more accepting leader, has a lot of support among the druids, so Kagha feels the need to assert herself
The writing here is far from bad or lazy. it's about Kagha wrestling with identity, power, and ideology, and the player can sway her based on what they uncover about her Shadow Druid connection.
It's wild to call Kagha's storyline "bad writing" just because you didn't catch the layers there. She isn't just "anti-refugee" out of some shallow villainy, she's under the influence of the Shadow Druids, a group that believes nature should overpower humanity
Maybe next time spend a bit more time exploring the characters before making sweeping claims about the writing
