Elon Musk: "Video game ”journalism” is garbage"

Ice T React GIF by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

After the latest questions Amorim has been getting at United's press conferences even after Rashford has already left for Villa, I'm convinced that sports journalism (at least in the UK) is worse than games journalism by quite a margin. Bunch of cunts, the lot of them.

If you think "simply existing" is why people hate him, you're a bit simple, huh? Here…. I have a ball of yarn you can play with. Probably hours of entertainment.

Looks like you're off your meds again grandpa. And sorry that my comment offended you so much to point of being completely triggered.

That applies to western gaming journalism (and non-gaming) one.

In Czechland for example, regular journalism is also garbage (and in large part funded by USAID far leftists, so it makes sense) but gaming journalism here is good quality.

He's salty about reporting on him being the ultimate fake gamer and is more than 10 years late to the party.

Yes Elon, we know. You still can't sit with us.

you are garbage moron, crawl back to whoever hurt you as a kid, that you crave attention and validation for being the "world's best gamer"

Do you hate Taylor swift too then? Just asking.

Oh no, I didn't know Taylor was autistic too?

Joke aside, Elon Musk doing that salute when and where he did is the scariest thing, and we all should be worried. People like to downplay it, saying it doesn't mean much, and show pictures of other politicians waving in public or whatever to make it look as if Musk isn't the only one. But we aren't stupid, and the silence is deafening. May God have mercy.

Anyway, games! He's not wrong; journalists suck at playing games (they can't all be pros at ranked!), and because they play games for work, they all have the same biases: "Games are too long! This game didn't overstay its welcome!" Of course, I'd be the same too! That shift was too long! What a nice customer didn't overstay their welcome! Oh this customer gave us a nice tip, he is such a nice person!

However, there's always those unicorns among the coal, the people that actually play for passion and love what they do. God bless them!

Also, there probably is more to the tweet thant it seems.

Elon knows USAID was spending billions promoting wokeness, sending money to lots of news outlets inside the US and around the world to influence people and rig elections. So, if suddenly all gaming journalists and a lot of game companies are woke, while a very high percentage of gamers hate woke games, doesn´t it look like there must be some incentive somewhere for those companies to do things that are so obviously against their own interests?

Now that USAID is about to dissappear, I expect a swift reduction in artificially woke gaming journalism and woke games. If gamers are not paying for it, and USAID isn´t paying for it either, that trend is going to dry up really fast.

You know they flipped the pic to make it look like she's using her right-hand when it's really her left and if you watch the video you can see she blew a kiss and is opening and closing her hand. You can see it at about the 4:20 mark.

Yep, a lot of folks are really interested in defending the richest man on Earth.

Maybe he can weed out corruption in both our government and game journalism at the same time?
I don't think game journalism is inherently corrupt; instead, it struggles with widespread incompetence. For instance, the most prominent figure in the industry resembles a journalist from the old tabloid era—more focused on sensationalism than substance.

Raise your hand if you look up to this guy. Raise it with your palm down though and kind of up at an angle with your arm nice and straight.

I think it's probably a good (bad) mix of both. It just sucks.

He's right they've always been garbage. But he embraced this fact after they all called him out for being a fake streamer. lol

I get amusement out of the people who spend all day hating this man for simply existing lol.

Love him or hate him, it's hard to see a statement like this as anything but trolling.

Considering the abnormal increase in the number of bad games tolerated with toxic positivity and high scores, he is not wrong.

Btw... gaming journalism is mostly garbage; not all garbage.
