People seem to forget why Elon is where he is, on the ranking scale.

He lives by the golden rule of successful men:
1. Learn a bit about as many fields as possible.
2. Surround yourself by people who know more than you (Specialists), about these fields.
3. Run businesses with those Specialists taking charge, in those fields, while you direct the companies.
4. PROFIT


The problem with Elon is that like most people with too much social activity, will inevitably shoot their own feet, from time to time.

Video game journalism is lacking but for different reasons - it's overpopulated with illiterate nerds that can barely stitch a sentence together. Not all of them obviously but a majority. Talking about subject on the most surface, black and white level possible and it is just dull. I still remember when guys like Charlie Brooker used to write about games. That was good stuff. There are tons of great film journalists and barely any writing about games.

News media are creatively bankrupt and have nothing else to talk about, so they talk about him 24/7.

No dislike towards Musk personally or anything but, the media (even those who say they hate him) talk about him like he's the second coming of Christ. Or that everything else in the world just ceased existing or functioning. I honestly think most of them are infatuated with him and get enjoyment out of trash-talking. It's like hate-watching a film.

But due to such I basically avoid most news media these days, mainstream or otherwise. They seem to have the same problem. And when I'm watching a stream that starts talking about them, I just tune out. For me personally, it's peak oversaturation.
