it took some time getting used to but I've finally managed to play emma frost somewhat decently
she's fun to play, I like bruisers that can deal some damage so I like her so far
she feels more like hulk than actual hulk with her E ability

I'm feeling this in Silver. Just played a match on the new map (the outdoor daylight one), healers sat up high the entire time. 70% of the point is out of their LOS. Me and the other tank could never get healed. I was on the cusp of Gold and now Im back on the cusp of Silver III. The new point system for Ranked is awful as well. I love the new team ups, but nerfing healers into the ground, was not a great move. I'm hoping the mid-season patch fixes some of their fuck ups.

On the positive side, Emma is awesome. Nothing more satisfying then choke slamming a Wanda or Spidey out of their Ult.

Thankfully I went on a winstreak after this and I'm now in silver, took a break and need to get back to it though. I actually got called a smurf one game since I went 76 and 8 with Scarlet Witch. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Emma's fun, it's so great to choke slam them out of it, then punch punch kick, watch them fly into a wall and die.

Went on a win streak myself and am now Gold. Took a break and debating if I want to play more today or not. Think I will go with Clair Obscura instead. :)
 
One change I'd like to see is when the game is over, and I'm hitting tab to look at the scoreboard, I'd like it to stay on screen. It will auto close at least three times till the "one more round" screen.

It never ceases to amaze me how utterly retarded modern gamers are. Season reset me down almost 9 ranks for some reason. Had to grind through a sea of braindead trash again to get back.

Honestly I haven't really had time to play the game but when I want to play a quick stress-free round, I just queue up against AI. Never experienced any toxicity and it counts towards challenges too so I haven't fallen behind on free costumes either.
 
Shit, most of it comes through text chat. I expect some toxicity, but holy shit, someone is constantly getting shit on every match. I hit Plat in Ranked and went to QP, and it is no better there. Can you disable the text chat as well? That would be ideal. I only want to see the built in pings, etc. In ranked, I heal or play Emma (Hit Lord with her a couple of weeks ago), rarely ever play DPS, but I try out DPS characters in QP so I can fill if need be in Ranked. I'm under the assumption, since its Marvel, you have a bunch of man children wearing their smedium Iron Man shirt, still living in their parents basement, who are just miserable fucks in real life.

Every competitive game I've ever played has been "toxic" that's just how it is, people hate to lose and will blame everyone and everything except themselves.
Can't be so soft skinned.
 
Soft skinned? Nah, been playing MP games since the 90's. To be honest, its mostly the other people on my team getting trashed that bothers me the most. For instance, yesterday in QP, playing a match and a Bucky was yelling at our tank because "the flyers" where owning our team. Dude, you are playing the character that should be taking them out, not the tanks. The other healer chimes in to say "bro, its QP, relax." Then this baby just loses his shit and then we lose all momentum because no one can focus. I only have my mic on during Ranked. QP, I have zero need to talk. I love trash talk and all that, but the constant yelling and whining at your teammates, whether its voice or text, is beyond old.

Yup you can. It's why I love the game. I never see the text chat.
 
Man comp is such a shit show this season. You either have three below average players instant locking DPS and refusing to switch, or you have good DPS but your healers are trash. And if by some act of god you have a decent team, the enemy team goes triple support and the game just gets reduced to a cycle of support ults until one side finally wins. Boring.

Hope they find a way to mix the meta up.

As a person who plays a lot of Support, I am not sure how I feel about him. His healing looks way weaker than Adam's. All I know is Hawkeye will be getting perma banned. Fuck getting shot by an ice arrow that pierces everything. However, I do think it is cool they are putting some wild team up abilities in the update.
