I'm not married.Good luck maintaining one.
I see it as a long term project. You have to invest if you want to make it purr like a kitten.Me neither. But those old ass cars can become quite expensive.
It's depressing to think that the next generation will never really what it's like to drive a proper car.It sickens me that this is what modern cars have become:

The Rolls Royce Sweptail:
I had no idea it existed but it's such a cool car
It probably nestles in the Ralph Lauren collection.World's most expensive car is one of those racing Ferraris from the mid 50s-mid 60s.
Used Audi S5 sportback?Ach, my ol' baby is going in for major surgery, first major thing on my gorgeous 2018 Stinger GT2. Got smacked in the butt by a huge arse Volvo driver who apparently was looking at the phone. I would just not know what to replace this with, can't find anything in price range with similar specs + buttloads of cargo space + actually starts at -35C.. Insurance say they would cover 36K Euro if it is totalled, but, I simply can't find anything that would match it. New Stingers are hard to come by here unfortunately (Sweden). :\

TT & VTG arent that bad, Audi does it pretty good in their 4.0TT offerings.Eh, not sure because Toyota are testing small 2 litre turbo engines putting out 447KW (600Hp). High power but low on torque so they might add electric motors to compensate.
There are some upsides to a smaller hybrid engine in terms of fuel efficiency, packaging and power delivery thanks to the electric motors assisting in providing that instant boost off power down low in the rev range along.
It's not all bad.
So sorry, men. If you can't find that look for A4/A6 or BMW 5 limousines, they usually have pretty good offerings due to not being as rare as a Stinger.Ach, my ol' baby is going in for major surgery, first major thing on my gorgeous 2018 Stinger GT2. I was always surprised how deep those limousines go and you can usually stick ski through the middle console of the back seat.
Company i work for had two Sportage, one hybrid one normal, both automatic. the normal one had gearbox troubles at normal speeds and they could not fix it, we dumped it on our most useless guy. Hybrid one slid on black ice through a corner and fuckled front suspension bad and dinked the back suspension aswell. We are currently at more than one month at the dealer and they are still trying to hustle for parts to get the repair started.I am amazed. Kia managed to repair the car, got it back.
I am so happy. Just not prepared to replace it, there is in the price range not a single competitor imho. I do like some of the BMW's, but, they range around 100% more in price. And, they are fugly cars.
KIA just screwed up with the Stinger/Scorpion, they should have lifted it out of the KIA brand, and made Stinger stores. I also have nightmare story to share with their yearly service. The regular mech's don't know how to handle the engine for service. Every single time I go in for service, they miss something. Last time, they forgot to refill the coolant fluids.

I too have noticed that. Can hardly be cutbacks in the style/design department? Many things presentation wise, have lost an edge over the last 10 or so years. It sickens me that this is what modern cars have become:

Not sure what you're after. Neither of these are town cars, and they're also very different from each other. The Elantra is an economy compact sedan that is designed to sell in large numbers, so don't expect any exclusivity or premium feel even with the N trim. The Elmira is Geely's attempt to make a luxury sports car akin to the Porsche Cayman, but its still about as far away from a town car as you can get.I need a good town car. I'd want the lotus emira but it would just get jacked in my neighborhood. So I'm thinking a Hyundai Elantra N. But the interior is pretty basic however I hear the driving experience is the best at the price range. There's a shit ton of Elantras (normal) driving around holy shit
well i know the emira isnt a everyday car but ive heard people use is as a daily. The Elantra N is just the best bang for the buck driving experience i found for new cars. The trim is so meh but the ride from what I hear is so good. Any recs for under 40k even if used? Not sure what you're after. Growing up in the 80's in NYC there wasn't cable television yet and whenever "Wide World of Sports" would come on over the air on ABC I'd always try and catch all the different types of sports but the mainly car racing (and the carnage they showed). Which was how I was introduced to my favorite type of racing ~ Rally (and derivatives like Pikes Peak etc).
It wasn't until I started dating this chick in Tarrytown NY (a little upstate about 20 minutes from the Bx) and she had cable so that's where I really got to experience complete Rally Racing (not just a clip show) and that's what really cemented my love for the racing style. Fast forward to being in HS (Graduated in '92) and there were not many vehicles available/sold in the U.S. that were AWD/Turbo in my price range but I always wanted something to fit the bill. I was always a Suzuki or Mitsubishi guy but the only cars available to the USDM market were the DSM's (Talon, Eclipse/Laser or the Galant VR-4) but being a broke ass HS kid it was only a dream....
It wasn't until after College where I was finally able to get my '90 Eagle Talon TSi (like the one pictured below)

I rocked that for a bit after doing a bunch of mods/upgrades to it until I managed to scoop a USDM LHD '92 Alpine White Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 #505 of 1000 from my boy who blew up the Turbo. I was working in the Parts Dept at a Mitsubishi Dealership and my Manager hooked me up with basically a complete engine rebuild and LOTS of new parts (Turbo, '95 Manifold, Head, Water Pump, Alternator, Belts etc) and I raced her all over the place from Hunts Point to Zerega on through Westchester, Upstate NY & Northern NJ. Here is a couple videos of her ~
Running around the Bx circa late 90's
Racing @ Hunts Point circa late 90's
Had to get rid of her when we moved to Florida in mid 2k's as a Four Wheel Steering line rusted out and I couldn't find a competent shop to do a repair or mod to remove it. So she sat for a few years until I sold it to a cousin back in NY. Fast forward another 15 years to around 2020 when the scamdemic hit and I knew if I didn't get something fast I would miss the window of finding something for a reasonable price with the prices of cars/chips & everything else going up in value. So I was able to pick my current baby up, another USDM LHD '92 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 (also 1 of a 1000 but misbadged as #1877) this time in Nile Black with BBS' and a BUNCH of rare goodies ~

Got her out of Cali (ZERO RUST) as the previous owner couldn't keep it anymore because of Cali's BS Governmental overreach & legislations that required it to be "smog compliant" for it to be registered/legal (FOH with that...it's a 30+ year old car!!!). So I bought it on the spot without even putting eyes on (had a cousin in Cali confirm condition though) for just $10k AS SHE SITS. I've only done mods I wanted to do, though it didn't really need it to be honest (other than a Trans rebuild). And I couldn't be happier I got her when I did. It was featured on Speed Hunters by the previous owner and has some internet buzz/presence attached to it linked Here for those interested.
EVERYONE loves her when I take it to local Car Shows and I also would love to rent this car to the service with ferrari roma dubai rental cars or Cars & Coffee events, as you just don't see them due to their rarity. Additionally my circle of friends have had probably 30+ or so GVR-4's over the years...I have a Cuz in Orlando who has a '91 in Belize Green and another Cuz in NY who not only had my #505 but another Nile Black one as well. I love these cars ~ the Grandfather of the Evo's! I just wish they would be appreciated and valued more as for some reason they still have a pretty low price point if you are looking for a TRUE RARE collectable AWD + Turbo rally legend.
Anytime I see this Ford GT I just think of the time Clarkson owned it and the nightmare it was.My favorite car I have ever owned was a 2006 Ford GT and wish I had a better picture of her that doesn't have me or my wife in it so this will have to do

My current daily driver is a Bronco followed by a Lightning and will get a pic up of the Lightning next time she is clean

I looked up the troubles he had and damnAnytime I see this Ford GT I just think of the time Clarkson owned it and the nightmare it was.
That can be any car can't it? I mean my plan when I get a little closer to retirement is to buy a 911, probably a 996 or 997 turbo. That being said you have the case like thisI looked up the troubles he had and damn
Mine had issues as it almost felt like a prototype of the actual car and as weird as it sounds she had good days and she had bad days
On the good days it was by far the most enjoyable vehicle I had ever driven but the bad days started adding up and when my wife and I decided to mainly live in Florida I had to get rid of some cars and this one was one that was out.
