I'm curious about how much the switch 2 "upgrades" are going to cost, don't see them being less than $20.
P.S: Fuck this pricing.

I'm guessing USD paying $79 while CAD we paying $89.Oh my sweet Dan, they are saying 80 usd, which means you'll pay more via CA...
I'm expecting $30 at this point.I'm curious about how much the switch 2 "upgrades" are going to cost, don't see them being less than $20.

My dude, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released in 2017, and I think the cheapest I've ever seen it was $49.99 ($20 off MSRP). No way this is getting "heavily discounted" by Black Friday or even by Black Friday 2030.My opinion is I was looking to buy my first Mario Kart since N64. I'm not buying it now. Not on release anyway. Maybe on Black Friday if it's heavily discounted.
There are very very few games I'd spend $80 for. And even those games I'd get the collector's edition version anyway.
The Switch 2 has PS4-level hardware.€80 on PS5 was okay already.
I don't see the problem with €80 Nintenso games either.
Don't like it, don't buy it or wait for a sale or whatever.
But PS5 and XSX games in the US are $69 not $80 and Nintendo wants to go to $80€80 on PS5 was okay already.

Don't worry, when Sony start doing this, $80 will be okay all of a sudden.
Also, PS5 and XSX games go on sale pretty fast, Nintendo rarely does sales on their games. But PS5 and XSX games in the US are $69 not $80 and Nintendo wants to go to $80
Everywhere.Point to where on the doll Sony hurt you.

Those are canadian doll hairs. The same game for PS5 here in Europe (Portugal) is 69€ (Nice), and games here are usually 10 more compared to the US doll hairs. So im wondering if Swich 2 games here will be 80€ or 90€. Either of these prices is crazy for a switch game.Which its exact price I'm currently paying for PS5 games.
yoooooo listen....you evil to remind him of this CalvinBut PS5 and XSX games in the US are $69 not $80 and Nintendo wants to go to $80
This could be a one off thing, though, as Donkey Kong is being sold at regular game prices. Kinda like the Zelda games on Switch are 10 bucks more expensive than any other Nintendo game. But PS5 and XSX games in the US are $69 not $80 and Nintendo wants to go to $80
I never said it would, That's why I said maybe. $50 is my price point for Mario Kart. If it doesn't get there, then I simply won't buy it.My dude, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released in 2017, and I think the cheapest I've ever seen it was $49.99 ($20 off MSRP). Regardless. Besides, since people always say Nintendo has high quality games, imo, they deserve to have that reflected in the prices of their games. The Switch 2 has PS4-level hardware.
I'm not familiar with US prices. In EU, PS5 games pricing is €79.99, afaik. But PS5 and XSX games in the US are $69 not $80 and Nintendo wants to go to $80
Maybe it just me but I don't judge game's price worth based on graphics I judge the games worth based on actual game itself. The Switch 2 has PS4-level hardware.
I will pay any price for their games….they deserve it.Now I'm worried about Monolith Soft's game price....
