all that red needs a subtle pattern in the background to break up the monotony, like a repeating nintendo logo at an angle or something.
bonus points if the logo would be slightly raised so you could feel it.

I don't open any of my standard or collector (limited, select, day one, etc.) editions.
Play digital and store physical for the most part.

My physical collection has really taken a hit in terms of qty purchased since the PS5 was released. I maybe have 50 ps5 games.

Yeah, we've seen the boxes for multiple first party games and none of them are these bullshit digital keys. Looks like this is an option for the same cheap third parties who would make you download 80% of their "physical" Switch games. Still sucks that Nintendo is facilitating this though.

This is actually better than codes that can be used only once on an account. It becomes possible reselling these "codes", as they are cartridges, in the used market. And you can ignore them just as easily as current "codes in a box" if you want only proper cartridges.

I don't get all the hate on the Switch remaster or should I say Switch Pro is getting.

lol that layout format is not for Switch 2 games. That's for Switch 2 enhanced games ie Switch games ie basically greatest hits type of packaging. No different than Nintendo Selects in past eras in which the cover was also shrunk.

Need to see Switch 2 exclusive packaging to say otherwise.

I hadn't considered this at all, but that's a really good point. It's also somewhat less deceptive than the nebulous "download required" banner.

Ugly and the band at the bottom with the extra text for enhanced games is unnecessary, you could just put it on the back of the box. The way it obscures the artwork is bad. Good thing I decided to collect for Switch.
