I guess this is the ultimate Switch. I'll Switch from having one - to not having one! Fuck you Nintendo. With a broomstick. Sideways.Especially if people can't help themselves buying it.
Gamers only have themselves to blame, again and again.
VRR confirmed.

Complaining? Dude exposedGuys, I'm super late. I've been with other media. I only need to know one thing: is Boji complaining as much as with the PS Pro?
Interesting to see confirmation of VRR and HDR but zero mention of DLSS and certainly not seeing what would appear to be DLSS in any of these trailers.
It is odd. Wonder why they would have tensor cores bit not support DLSS. Same thing with Ray Tracing.Interesting to see confirmation of VRR and HDR but zero mention of DLSS and certainly not seeing what would appear to be DLSS in any of these trailers.
I Lol'd because if you you expect consistent 4K(internal render)/60fps you will be in for a rude awakening.Prime 4 is 4K60, so it's possible. Might be less though of course.
Edit: why the lolSweetTooth ? Don't you think its possible that TOTK runs worse than 4K60 on Switch 2?
you my friend will eat your wordsps5 is not an handheld
I never said anything about internal render though. I think Prime 4 uses upscaling to get to 4k60.I Lol'd because if you you expect consistent 4K(internal render)/60fps you will be in for a rude awakening.
Sure games will be upscaled to 4K screens, but knowing Switch 2 specs they would look bad.
You my friend will be eating humble pie very soon.$450. Same price as a ps5.
Lackluster presentation. Just a new Mario kart. Don't see this selling much until the price drops substantially. Could be 3ds or even Wii U all over again.
yes. The joycons work as well. Ring Fit adventure was confirmed to be compatible with the system but only with Switch 1 joycons. All they need is bluetooth.Anyone know if Switch 1 Pro controllers will work with Switch 2?

If it doesn't support dlss, maybe it's a licensing/royalty issue?Interesting to see confirmation of VRR and HDR but zero mention of DLSS and certainly not seeing what would appear to be DLSS in any of these trailers.
When it comes to gaming I would like new user interfaces. Not for consoles but imagine a Quest controller for analog stick movement while still using the mouse for aiming on PC.
What do you mean? Then are you excited about what?
I'm I the only one who was disappointed from the first party games to the poor graphics showcase, guess I expected more, rumours are true, it's just a ps4 with a better cpu. Where the hell was Dlss, please tell me Nintendo has not chosen a nividia gpu with no Dlss.
It won't be 4K/60 .. Best case it will be sub 1200p upscaled maybe even less. What do you mean?
All I said is that I think its possible TOTK could be 4k60 on Switch 2. I never said anything about being excited.
Potentially, but I don't think we can rule it out when Prime 4 reaches that level. It won't be 4K/60 .. Best case it will be sub 1200p upscaled maybe even less.
Crashing the party I see. Then are you excited about what?
Trump just announced 34% tariffs on china and 46% tariffs on Vietnam. Doesn't nintendo get some of their components made in Vietnam?
If it doesn't support dlss, maybe it's a licensing/royalty issue?
Are switches made in Japan though? The bigger issue is Vietnam for Nintendo. Not sure if anyone thought it would be that high. What is it a 20% tariff on Japan imports just announced. That would bring the price to $550.
I've a feeling Nintendo has factored for this though, they knew it was coming.
24% tariffs on Japan. So wherever the Switch 2 is manufactured, it could become much more expensive.
But I think it was expected no? People are actually surprised that 1/0.5 rather than 1/1. Though it makes sense due to USD transactions. Are switches made in Japan though? The bigger issue is Vietnam for Nintendo. Not sure if anyone thought it would be that high.

Sucks for u guysYep. Gaming in the USA is about to get a whole shit ton more expensive across the board.
Not sure how it'll work. But it's a Japanese company so worst comes to worst in theory they could ship from Vietnam to Tokyo, put them in a box then send to US.Are switches made in Japan though? The bigger issue is Vietnam for Nintendo. Not sure if anyone thought it would be that high.
It's not 1/0.5. The number on that sheet on the USA side is completely made up. I think they count VAT as a tariff. But I think it was expected no? People are actually surprised that 1/0.5 rather than 1/1. Though it makes sense due to USD transactions.
I don't live in the USA.Sucks for u guys![]()
It might not honestly, manufactured in Vietnam with a 46% newly announced tarifI know this is a no politics forum but…are yall sure this price for the usa will hold? Lmao
We are talking about a company that is notorious for cheaping out to try and keep costs down, and another for being a bad hardware partner for companies.I can't imagine the value of going with nvidia without DLSS...
I don't think Japan even have factories to produce consoles. Are switches made in Japan though? The bigger issue is Vietnam for Nintendo. Not sure if anyone thought it would be that high.
