Really well done side quests. I was also one of the weird ones who enjoyed closing oblivion gates. Late game bandits having expensive armor.
Totally messed up leveling system. I think skills you wanted to actually use the most needed to be put in minor skills and not major if I am remembering correctly. Otherwise my character was eventually getting destroyed. Some of the books in the game were interesting to read.
The music was amazing. In many ways I preferred Oblivion over Skyrim.

Clair Obscur will be fine honestly, and MS doesn't owe them anything. But yeah, I would have never guessed they'd put out Oblivion this close to Avowed and Outer Worlds 2. I guess they're trying to space Oblivion out somewhere in the middle of those 2.

The Dark Brotherhood questline. And the twists that happen in it. One of the most "holy shit" moments of the game is when you're tasked with killing the guy who was taunting you in your prison cell at the beginning of the game, which requires sneaking back into the Imperial City prison. Just a great callback to a memorable early moment and really helps make the game world feel more alive and dynamic.
Also, looting the hell out of every store in the Imperial City Market District at night.

I hope Umaril the Unfeathered and Jyggalag would be made much stronger and have some extra cool animation to make them stand out more.
Actually they could also do the same for non DLC charecters like Mannimarco the King of Worms, the Arena Champion forgot his name. Manker Cameron who was more of a antagonist than Mehrunes Dagon.
Same for Manninarco,
Same, single player Bethesda games even unmodded will always take the spotlight away from other games.

I actually just finished it, a lot shorter than I was expecting. But then again I have played it before for a few hours so I knew all the mechanics already.
Was pretty fun, if the Monday prediction doesn't turn out to be true I might start Shadow of War next.

Oblivion and Expedition 33 are completely different games though. They could have totally different audiences. I hope Oblivion does drop on Monday as I couldn't care less about the other title.

I made these AI Upscales using Topaz AI (best upscaler on the market, IMO). There are some issues present with foliage (2nd and 7th shot in particular), but these offer a much better look than what has been posted by people using the cheap-ass online upscalers.
Looks beautiful. Lumen RT FTW. Hopefully we can use Hardware Lumen on PC.

I know that seems like it makes sense, but game launches need support.. launching today would mean Xbox employees, specifically in Microsoft support, would need to work during the holiday weekend.
Not to mention the dev team, imagine if there's some issue in need of patching.. or if Gamepass entitlement breaks… humans are involved in all of this.
Microsoft won't do that.

I'm holding on to a faint glimmer of hope that they announce a physical version as well. It would be enough to make me wait a short while so I can finish up Atomfall and Indiana Jones before diving into Oblivion

Where's the Gamestop or Bestbuy leaks then? The whole thing stinks. Unless it's a digital only release for a couple weeks. No way are there no leaks from warehouse or brick and mortar stores if a physical edition was to be released in the next few days.
Unless, it isn't gonna be released soon. I mean physical copies photographed.

Right in the middle of the week, prep for lanch on Monday, deliver on Tuesday, support any fires Wednesday through Friday.
Works great.
Launching on a Friday means your team has to work over the weekend, no one wants to do that, especially not on a holiday weekend. And so, no shadow drop today.
