Misery? There's a trailer that showed almost exclusively stuff that doesn't cater to my tastes. It's gonna be a million people's Game of the Forever, and I'm psyched for those dudes. Misery implies a level of care that I don't possess on this title or developer in general. You have to be let down or failed in some way contrary to prior expectations to experience anything even related in the third degree to misery.

I don't like football and seafood, either. I don't go to football stadiums or coastal resorts. Does that make me miserable? Or do I just do other things that I deem as proportionally as meaningful as the things that I'm missing out on?

I don't like Persona or Call of Duty, either. Also, yes, I cared enough to post in the topic, epic own, 1st post nails it, etc. I've been thoroughly wrecked by the insurmountable intellectual hurdle the likes of which haven't been seen in civilized populations since the dead to rights question was asked: "When did you stop beating your wife?" Truly, I am steaming saliva and gnashing teeth over your pavlovian master stroke of critique.

It's interesting and shows off a lot of vehicles and locations but it's a pretty bland trailer, too slow paced and no surprises.

people said the same thing about the trailer that came out 18 months ago. this one looks even better.

the game is in the final polish stage. it will look even better.

Looks great but I don't expect it to look like that when it comes out.

Also, the trailer itself wasn't that great to be honest. It felt all over the place.

Both GTA V and RDR 2 looked better at launch than the trailers despite people expecting a visual downgrade.

There's no reason to think the same won't happen here, it's Rockstar we're talking about.

Looks great visually and I'm sure will be fun. Not the type of game I really get hyped about though. Didn't care it was delayed, I'll play it whenever it arrives because I think everyone with an interest in the hobby will (along with millions of casuals).

What do you mean possible? It's known there's two playable characters since the leak in September 2022.

They said 2 billions and i tend to believe it, no way this cost only 500 mil, the difference between this and panderman 2 is generational.

This might be a bad generation for PS when it comes to games for Ps5, especially with very few Ps5 exclusives. But when it comes to hardware Ps5 even the base Ps5 is one of the best and its a very good and capable hardware. Ps5 base is very capable of great looking game, especially after playing Stellar blade, GTA7, SH2 remake, Astrobot, and currently finishing Death stranding directors cut for ps5. Ps5 pro will be much better with PSSR , and with integration to FSR4 next year.

I have no idea what the budget it, but yeah, I figured it was at least $1B. $2B seems a bit insane, but this has been in active development for close to a decade and the marketing alone will probably be more than the production + marketing of most AAA games.

Either way, it's unreasonable to use GTA as some kind of standard to hold other games to. Its production values blow everything out of the water and other game can compete with its budget and time.
 
I think anyone doubting the graphics side of things has forgotten just how bonkers RDR 2 looked on last gen consoles.
Rockstar are absolute techwizards.
Now, whether it'll have a 60fps mode, thats the question. Possibly on the Pro? Can't see it looking like that and having 60fps on Base consoles though. As for Series S...lol.
 
What a nice suprise, it looks awsome. I have my doubts for graphics, I dont believe this will be the real deal considering the power of the consoles and the scale of the game.

I'm so happy they're using them again! Vice City actually reinvigorated the Pointer Sisters touring careers and for a while they were doing the Malibu Club dance when they sung automatic as a thank you for all the people seeing them.
