Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2

The graphics and content likely justifies the $100 price tag, though I wouldn't buy it at that price.

I can wait for huge discounts.

Perfection....

Also i see this is many users first rockstar game hype train, the formula is 2 or 3 story trailers then 2 trailers just before launch going in depth with all that is new in the game, one of those might be a MP trailer but that might get its own thing as well.

At least it's in engine. So, the cutscenes will look great at least lol

Game will look great as well.

GTA V used a combination of cinematic cutscenes and gameplay cutscenes. In the cinematic cutscenes (like those with scripted camera angles and no player control), Rockstar used high-polygon character models and higher-resolution textures since performance constraints were lower. During gameplay and gameplay-driven cutscenes, the game primarily used the standard in-game models to maintain stable performance.

Red Dead Redemption 2, on the other hand, relied entirely on real-time in-engine cutscenes and didn't use separate character models. Instead, the game dynamically adjusted LOD (Level of Detail) for characters, clothing, and environments. This means facial details and textures look far more refined during close-up scenes than when seen from a distance in open-world gameplay. The engine smartly prioritized visual fidelity based on the camera's proximity and importance of the scene.

It's reasonable to assume that GTA VI will follow the approach of RDR2, likely pushing it even further with improved LOD transitions, more detailed character models, and enhanced real-time cinematics.

Why are people assuming this game will be 100$? Was that confirmed already? :goog_relieved:

One is going to die… And we have to choose.
Sorry, Jason, but that ass commands me that Lucia is going to be saved.

If they don't release it on PC I just won't buy it. Not giving them the money for this BS anymore.
It's not interesting me that much anyway. It looks like one of the most underwhelming GTA games I can think of.

It will release on PC...two years later.

RDR2's real-time cutscenes also allowed us to do stuff like this:

I mean we all knew it would look good, but christ almighty the level of detail is fucking obscene. Absolutely happy with my PS5 Pro purchase now. Just another year left.

Kind of a boring trailer honestly. No mystery or narrative hook, and no gameplay features shown.

The game looks great but considering the delay I wouldn't have released this.

Should've had Kojima cut it lol

Nothing great about 30fps on a modern TV. Nothing.

Possible two playable characters. And I hope the fashion and gym will be back so you can make you can make your character fit and beautiful. Perfect timing for ps5 pro pssr and fsr 4 integration next year.

Seriously have you guys never seen a Rockstar trailer?

Yall asking about gameplay havent been around in the industry for 15/20+ years?

Or whats going on here.

The trailer did a good job just showing "day in the life" stuff. I def got the Florida vibe and overall think it did a great job of wetting appetites before dropping in game mission stuff.
Sony probably has all the marketing on lock and I wouldn't be surprised if we see gameplay footage at their SoP or whatever in Q4.

The women look absurdly gorgeous and well modeled....but they REALLY nailed the gross fat sweaty hairy dudes (source: I am a gross fat hairy dude)

Relax bro. It's a videogame, people have all the right of wanting to see some gameplay before making any conclusions.

The "it's always been like this" shouldn't be a valid excuse.

Trailer is 30. If there ain't a 40 mode I'll skip this game till next gen.

30 is unplayable on modern TV.
I'm not a fan of 30fps either, but to be honest, it's okay if well implemented.
I'm currently replaying some <30fps PS3 games and it's not *that* terrible. Of course it sucks, but good games are still fun to play even on 30fps.

Which lead to everyone assuming Rockstar themselves said it'd be $100
What's left to see is that if those rumours and Rockstar seeing people accept it won't end up being the actual reason for a real price increase.

Fuck rumors and leakers, damn.

They planted the seed, and fanboys have been arguing online since January trying to convince people that they would "totally pay $100 for this bro", giving Rockstar ideas.

I already know interactions with these NPCs is going to be awesome, just look at RDR2 for that.

I do hope we can enter shit loads of buildings, what a disappointment V was in that regard. And please can we finally have a decent and fun fighting system?

I'm hoping they do a full blown overview trailer like they did for GTAV. That trailer was hype

That's what I'm hoping for as well. With the delay being pushed to a little over a year from now, I don't expect to get something like this until the months preceding release, but we'll see.
