TV broadcasting in my country is digital why is NTSC still a thing?

I get why support on tvs was kept for analog signal that was still used for many years in many parts of the world after HD tvs appeared.
But consoles and graphics cards made after 202x not using full 60Hz and 120Hz by default? This is peak idiocy.
Time to adopt FreeSync, Sony. Instead of relying on just the HDMI group standard.
FFS, AMD is your balls deep partner.
Sounds like the newest update has fixed the issue can anyone confirm?
They are not addressing consoles problems, they fantasize them.Bad news from DF about the PS5…

Honestly everytime I noticed stuttering I thought it was more because the fps were out of the VRR range so I don't know what exactly I have to look to notice such issues. How could they even mess this up? Holding off playing Days Gone Remastered until it's fixed. Is it fixed?
There's a DF video in the OP.Honestly everytime I noticed stuttering I thought it was more because the fps were out of the VRR windows range so I don't know what exactly I have to look to notice such issues.
One of the most vocal person on the issue on Reddit has tested it and said the issue is goneWas that mentioned anywhere?

My question is: you noticed it before the DF videos? Because if not, I'm not looking to it, thanks. I'm already too much obsessed to other tech flaws so I'm happy to live in the ignorance. There's a DF video in the OP.
I did. I'm really sensitive to framerate issues. My question is: you noticed it before the DF videos? Because if not, I'm not looking to it, thanks. I'm already obsessed to a lot of other tech stuff so I'm happy to live in the ignorance.
I'm too but honestly when fps is stable I never noticed such issues so maybe it's better if I continue to ignore it.I did. I'm really sensitive to framerate issues.
downloading it now... I think I noticed it in Diablo yesterday so I'll check it out.One of the most vocal person on the issue on Reddit has tested it and said the issue is gone
Very vague message. Why not mention VRR issue aside maybe it's just fixed for specifics screens. Was that mentioned anywhere?

Silent Hill 2 PS5 Pro patch still on the way, says Bloober
Bloober Team is still working on a PS5 Pro patch for Silent Hill 2 to improve performance.www.eurogamer.net
Probably timing it for the rumored story DLC for SH2.
No.
kinda? some games that could use a patch still or have it broken like SH2.They have?
Huh?100% not fixed?
I misunderstood you. I thought you said VRR was fixed on PS.Huh?
They are still working on a patch with the publisher. I would not be shocked if the game gets an UE5.x revision that resolves a lot of issues of prior versions.
Ah, yeah. Was just responding about the Pro patch still being worked on.I misunderstood you. I thought you said VRR was fixed on PS.
Didn't know that DLC was a thing! Thanks for the heads up!![]()

Same here... Film Grain on 10 is crazy noisy. I prefer without it. PSSR's noise is just perfect for this gameOne thing I noticed is how crazy noisy the game is on the 77 inch screen.
I had moved my PS5 Pro so I'm starting with a controlled test
Time: 3:46pm ET
Game: TLOUP1
TV: LGCX77 on latest firmware (Ps5 is connected to audio receiver)
PS5 Pro: previous firmware
Will update within the next 30 minutes to see if it is still happening.
One thing I noticed is how crazy noisy the game is on the 77 inch screen.
I'm just quoting this post to say that Forspoken is really cool, not particularly woke, absolutely worth everyone's time and attention, and no, I am not joking or being sarcastic. He's COMING!!!

Update: I screwed up the control test. TV and AVR weren't configured to pass through VRR.
Starting test over at 4:30pm ET
Awesome!Update: Appears to be fixed... finally.

I don't even know what stutters are and would otherwise not be posting in this thread.
Doesn't make any sense as to why Sony didn't tell anyone about the fix.DF publically outing this was a good thing, otherwise Sony move at a snails pace.
I'm the new and best console! But you can only choose between ugly performance, and good looking low frames. Which would you like? Stutter
it's a different type of stutter.
So its all fixed now?
That's amazing news. Props to DF and the others that highlighted it
