All I'm hearing is that I'm going to have to continue waiting for Titanfall 3.
Yup, that and Rogue One, and they're not exactly happy films.Yeah because Empire was so optimistic right?
Oops it's the best movie out of the entire franchise.
Will it be as generic and soulless as the first two?
Apex Legends is Titanfall 3, they already said that awhile backAll I'm hearing is that I'm going to have to continue waiting for Titanfall 3.
Fucking christ Stig mustve had some serious reasons to bail out 2/3 into a fucking trilogy
And I dont trust whoever takes the reigns
Do you mind elaborating? I've played the first one a few times now and really enjoyed it. I haven't played the second one yet but was about to begin.I hope they take way more time with this one. I couldn't tell at all on the first game but the second game felt obviously rushed. Still good, but not great, and very rushed. Like, "Let's see how quickly we can pump this out" rushed. High talented team but it needs more time in the oven.
Please fix the trash map.
Really couldn't finish either cause i detested it so much.
Can you be more specific? What would you add to the level or fix?
Performance was mediocre on launch with survivor. That may have been patched out. The story was pretty good but not on the level of the first one and mostly the issue was character development. There are some cool battles and one or two especially must see scenes, but I didn't grow to love the characters like I did in the first game. The returning characters were a nice touch but underutilized. The last half felt pretty rushed from a narrative perspective. My biggest issue is this game didn't really evolve from the first one. If you've played horizon zero dawn and then forbidden west, it's similar in that the game has more content but didn't really evolve in any meaningful way. In fact, the 2nd game to me was worse than the first one. They did improve animations a good deal but it felt like the scope of the game was intentionally kept small in order to finish it in a tighter timeframe. Because of the small scope of the story it felt less epic than the first game.Do you mind elaborating? I've played the first one a few times now and really enjoyed it. See, I felt the other way. I couldn't put the first one down, the second one I lost interest about halfway through. The games have issues, but I completed them both and think they're worth playing. Part 2 has as much platforming as a Prince of Persia game at times. Hope they keep that going.
What about the Sith ?The Force will get'er doooneee.
- Jedi Master Cal Cleatus

Unlike the first game in the series, I felt the second was pretty forgettable. I suspect mainly this is because they intentionally kept the scope small so they could get it shipped with minimal resources. I felt the "efficiency" of the development process and while I understand its necessity,
I feel it stripped a lot of the heart out of the game that was present in the first one.
Almost 100% agreed on all plot points. It felt like there should have been a game in between the two, because I felt too much story progression occurred between the two games and some of it seemed really important to the story of the second game. Not much of a fan of Survivor. I really didn't enjoy the strange direction they took certain characters and the story in general. In-fact, I would go as far to say the story and 'betrayal' were incredibly contrived. Lets consider the actions of certain characters i.e. after the events of Fallen Order our love interest Merrin left to 'find herself' rather than staying with Cal, criminally underutilised Cordova is alive and appears in the story just to die, Bode inexplicably betrayed everyone and thought he could just walk away, ancient overly emotional Jedi Dagan Gera returns and inexplicably attacks Cal even though the both pretty much want the same thing, Cere is absent for the majority of the game and then dies, after the first game Greez was basically discarded by everyone then returned to help. Seriously, none of that makes any sense at all. The game is a patchwork of poorly considered, inadequately realised ideas. Though there are sequences that are satisfying the game as a whole, is a regression in almost every way from Fallen Order.
I want to play the first 2 games but also kinda want to wait until the 3rd one is out so I can play all 3 of them back-to-back-to-back.
I just want Titanfall 3, man. None of their Star Wars games came even fucking close to Jedi Knight 2 or 3.
It's fiction for children. But KotoR 2 is right there for you.Zero interest. Outside of visuals, i didn't find a single thing being good in these games. Give me a mature Star Wars game already.
