PD looked like a vertical slice bullshot last outing I doubt we'll see that anytime soon.
Fables needs a blow out but seeing as Outerworlds 2 gets the showcase im guessing it needs a lot more time in the oven, which is ridiculous all things considered

Same. I don't understand doing this during the weekend. Even if I have free time I'm not wasting it on this show I'm going to be playing games. At least during the week I can just pretend I'm in a meeting and watch it.

The FFVII remake doesn't do anything for me, but I'd be keen to try FFXVI on my XSX. Seems like a radical departure from the usual FF formula.

I had a feeling this year would be a Showcase with fewer surprises and announcements and more about show footage of games already announced .. but this tweet has piqued my curiosity a little more.

It would be about goddamn time. At the same time this shit has been rumored for so long now, I'm a bit over it. Especially with (iirc) rumors that FF7R wouldn't drop until the trilogy was complete. If true hopefully we won't have to wait super long for part 2.

They've crushed it for several years now. It seems clear they will easily be the best showcase again, even if its a slower year for them.
I guess we'll see. They almost have an unfair advantage when they just have a better product. The show hits different when every other game shown is coming to GP so you know you got it and don't even have to decide to buy it until you try it.

I still wish Fable was coming this year, next year with RE 9 and GTA6 looks hard to get a good slot.
Looking forward to the show. Hope we see this new IP that Double Fine is working on, along with some gameplay of Fable, Forza Horizon 6, Contraband and Project Mara
It would also be nice to see what 343 has been up to with the new Halo single player. Still very poor that 5 years in to the gen we haven't had a native Xbox Halo game for the Series consoles

I'm really excited to finally see more of State of Decay 3 , it's been a long wait, and I'd love to get a proper look at the gameplay and new features. With the promise of next-gen visuals, deeper survival mechanics, and a darker tone, this could be the evolution the franchise truly deserves. Hoping for something that sets a new standard in open-world zombie survival. Please !

I think we might even see some new controllers being thrown in the mix too. The current Xbox series controller is getting lapped by the secondary market.
