Lmao you really live under a rock huh? It comes out in August. It's the most popular metal gear game other than MGS1. It originally sold over 4 million copies.

We've been starved for a MGS game so even a remake as long as it isn't a performance problem game, will easily sell 1-2 million copies considering the platforms it's on.

It's multi-plat so it probably should, but I don't really sense any excitement for it so maybe not. The game is ancient and Konami isn't what it used to be. The marketing might not be there or the game might end up being a disaster. You can't really say that about DS2.

MGS will sell more. Its a stealth action game by default - easier to explain/understand and get behind if your new.
Old heads and new ones will eat this up.

Some of them will be there for sure but Clair won't, I don't think Sandfall reports to NPD/Circana.

For its day, yes. But horror games are way more mainstream now. I think that helped Silent Hill tremendously.

I don't think Delta has a chance in hell to outsell Death Stranding 2 this year.
