Charlie Kirk assassinated at Utah campus event

The left in general and democratic leaning media never lets up. It's not the like the right is exempt but they are not off the reservation like the left

No one needs to agree with the man. But he was young with two kids and a wife. He was a human being. Imagine you're a kid and you find out your dad died for simply speaking what he felt was right.

Maybe AI taking our lives and jobs won't be the end of humanity after all as a humanity that relishes in the death of someone with differing opinions has done away with humanity already.

The liberal mind is an absolute disease. Just seeing their comments on this especially on left leaning platforms, I'm more convinced than ever that they are empty vessels of nothing but hate. Just disturbing individuals.
Yeah, I have to agree with this. People may not agree with CK and even hate the guy, but celebrating the death of someone that never killed a person it's just pure evil. I didn't agree with a lot of things he said and I didn't particularly liked the guy but I'm sad for him and he's family.
The comments I've seen in resetera are sick... Almost created an account just to call them out...

Live from the campus. Showing SWAT moving through the place. I'm guessing that there's a massive cordon around the area.

EDIT: TMZ saying that they have footage showing the shooter leave campus. Not sure if they've shown it yet though as it's unconfirmed.

This is insanely fucked

I hate painting with broad strokes, as that's what the left does. I know that nothing I say below is revolutionary.

However it must be said that this is the modern day left wing.

A large percentage of them, including the media machine and their various billionaire backers, do not believe in core democratic principles like freedom of expression or freedom of thought. They do want to silence you with violence, they will smugly revel in violence against 'the enemy'.

The mainstream media fans this and continues to dehumanise right wing personalities, beliefs and supporters whilst using extremist language.

I hope God gives Charlie Kirk, his wife and his children strength.
No side is innocent. The riots on the Capitol made that quite clear.
In Africa they kill one another by the hundreds of thousands with machetes. It's not the guns, it's not the knives.

It's people and the crazy ideologies going around for the last decade. This insanity needs to stop.
Imagine how much worse it would be if they all had guns.

Crazy ideology is based on perspective. The problem is that everyone sees themselves the hero.
Further tightening gun laws only serves to remove or restrict firearms from law abiding citizens. Criminals do not obey the law, regulation, or restrictions.

People will kill each other without firearms, they are just tools.
They can kill far less with knives and other weapons as opposed to guns. Thats statistically proven. If thats not the case, then why is there such a push to limit nukes for aggressive countries? Because it works.

At the end of the day, the scope of violence can be curtailed with limiting the destructive capacity of aggressive individuals through limiting their access to tools that can kill many, very quickly.

That guy was appointed to government positions by two different democratic governors. So if he was a republican (they say he was registered republican in the 2000s) he wasn't a hard-core anti-democratic one until recently. Which coincides with the radicalization of the left which pushed so many out. It's not like that guy was a political extremist his whole life. Seems like the abortion stuff was his primary motive and that isn't as politically exclusive as the media wants you to believe.

Regardless, it's clear the political state of America is at a very dangerous boil, much like it was pre-Civil War, 60's race riots, etc. Can we weather it? Perhaps, but social media really limits the ability of any central control to placate things, plus its rife with bots and foreign influence. All we need now is a moderate economic bump, something we could normally survive when more united, and its all over.

Kirk's assassination isn't gonna unify 95% against 5% and lead to removal of the 5%, it will just pit 50% against the other 50% and destroy us all.

His videos always appear on my feed, never heard him say offensive stuff or something that would make someone decide to kill him. The U.S.A. is a fucked up place right now. It just feels bad man, to be shot over words, and the thought of that video being shared for decades. RIP Charlie.

Absolute insanity.

I disagreed with him on many points, but I liked that he forced people to think and come with good arguments and facts not just hearsay and anecdotes.

Apparently that's too much for the Left to handle. They can't make good arguments so they kill those who do because it's the only way to silence them and "win"

The Left is a death cult.

Well, Kirk said some gun violence is unfortunate but necessary and also said empathy is a made up word for pussies so I guess everyone should be perfectly ok with this attack and feel nothing if he ends up passing away. His own words.
So, you agree that is fine to kill someone just because you don't share he's points of view. I guess it will be fine if someone kills you if you say something someone doesn't like, something in the lines of your comment.

I remember some time when I was much younger, the most hated person in the world to me, a local bully who was older and bullied many kids in the neighborhood, there was a rumor going around that he had been killed. Now it turns out he wasn't, it was a false rumor, but before we found out the truth, I felt an unexpected sense of sadness. I couldn't really explain why I felt that way at the time, but I did. That was my first real situation in life where I was placed in a situation to feel empathy for someone who it wasn't just disagreement with this person, I legit hated him.

I don't know if that situation shaped my ability to always have empathy for people I disagree with or if it is just the way I'm wired, but it is so disconcerting to see so much disregard for human life from others. I think part of it is just people who aren't actually happy and just act it online because triggering others is a power trip high for them. But some people are legit happy, and this type of mentality leads nowhere good.

"Words are violence" has always been the foot in the door to countering your opponent with violence.

If you can convince a group that someone's words are violence, getting them to agree with responding with violence is the easy part.

I didn't say those things, Charlie Kirk did. You're welcome for the clarification.

is he wrong? It only counts when it's others that get shot and killed for senseless bullshit? Those are his actual words, so why shouldn't we adhere to them?
He isn't suggesting you have no empathy for victims - rather that some violence is an inherent result of that reality. Liberty has costs, not just the liberty to own firearms, either.

Did he ?

Read the room, bro. We're talking about the disgusting mindless violent LEFT right now.

He's a martyr now. With how this is being covered, it seems like this will be a JFK moment for conservative youth. Hope the killer is caught swiftly.

He obviously didn't deserve to die, but his debating style could be very malicious and provocative.

Assassination and terrorism seem to be supported much more by leftists than conservatives.

Not really. They just don't like calling that "terrorism" when it's carried out by a far right individual.

I genuinely can't fathom celebrating this. He's not even a fucking politician. I can't stand don lemon, but I absolutely do not want him to get brutally murdered in front of his family. The casual bloodlust is insane.
